They are very effective and prompt. They do what they suppose to do. They are responsive in a situation even in an emergency.

Needed to replace a 1929 asbestos covered, original coal burning, gas converted boiler - open hot water radiator system.  Clover provided several good options which I took my time choosing.  They performed an energy audit, referred a certified asbestos abatement contractor, facilitated my NYSERTA Energy Star application for 2.99% financing and tax credits based on the high energy efficiency of the project, and replaced both boiler and hot water heater while closing the system and upgrading combustion air supply piping.  The work took several days to complete, however was performed sporadically over several weeks.  Hot water heater was delivered damaged twice by distributor which Clover refused to accept or install until received in perfect condition.  Key takeaways:

Overall, while not the least expensive option - we all know that you get what you pay for.  I received a quality energy efficient product with quality and timely work peformed.  This project will save me money on monthly electric and gas bills which will ultimately pay for itself over time.  I will continue to use Clover for boiler and hot water heater maintenance as necessary, as well as consider them for future projects down the road without a doubt.

I have had historic problems with the heat/boiler system in my house.  I finally found Clover Comfort a few years ago and have been using them ever since.  They do a very good job and show-up when they say they will.  They also try hard to send the same technician to the house (in my case, Chris).  It is very nice to develop a rapport with a particular person.  The same goes for the person  most answering the phone at Clover Comfort, Suzanne. I really do like their service.  It is a little bit pricey, but my heat and A/C do work (and have been improved since they started maintaining my systems).

It went great.  They came, they gave us several estimates, we picked one, they did the work, they were done a week later, end of story.  Everything was terrific.

I found them through Angie's List. We were very satisfied and happy with their service. They were very knowledgeable. They got the work done as they said they would. They were also punctual. The price is a little bit too high. We were satisfied with their customer service. They are very friendly.

The technician arrived on time and spent about 3/4 of his time compiling a list of options for me to consider to repair the immediate problem and refurbish the air conditioner which is 11 years old. He presented me with four or five options which ranged in price from $470. to $2500. I chose the $626. option which was supposed to provide the services I listed under services performed. It didn't make sense to me to invest so much money in services that seemed very unnecessary, like acid washing the coil and replacing fluids in lines running to the indoor unit which houses the air filter. It seemed counterintuitive given the age of the unit.

I am in the process of buying a home and during the inspection, one of the inspectors suggested I bring in a specialist to look at the furnace. I saw reviews on Angie's List that Clover Comfort had performed inspections on furnaces to help potential buyers determine what they were getting into when buying a home. When I first called, the woman I spoke to didn't know what service I would need, but she would have one of the technicians call me back. She got back to me and suggested I do the seasonal maintenance. I explained, that since I do not own the house, I really do not need to fix anything, I just need them to tell me what shape it is in. After a few more back and forth phone calls she explained that an evaluation would be upwards of $300, but the seasonal maintenance would be about $160-$170, and it would probably tell me what I wanted to know. I scheduled the appointment to be the first one of the day. The technician was there waiting for my real estate agent & I when we arrived and got right to work. He cleaned everything and was very nice. There were a number of things wrong with the furnace and it needed to be shut down by law. He was very friendly about it and explained what he was doing, why he was doing everything. He gave me some options to tell the seller of different price points to fix the existing furnace. I asked for some quotes to replace the existing furnace with a new one, but he couldn't give those (not even a general price range). I pushed a little to get those as well, so he said when he gets back to his office he will have them send me something. I waited, and followed up with the office a couple times, and still have not received any estimates to replace the existing furnace. My real estate agent called the owner of the company and tried to ask why some of the estimates for fixing the existing furnace were so pricy, but with no real answer. Overall, my technician was very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I generally have not had luck with HVAC people (gas/boiler/steam and hot water heating systems). Found company on Angie's List. They were responsive, easy to schedule, prompt and helpful. I thought I had a problem with my water feeder to the boiler. He spent time to make sure that it worked.

I was very impressed with the energy audit - a very thourough inspection of the whole house and analysis of where I was losing the most energy. I thought they would say I needed to replace my 35 year old drafty windows. but instead they found ways of improving the insulation and reducing drafts in the attic and basement. Very happy with the new boiler. Its much quieter and saved me 20% on heating this past winter. With the info they provided I really felt I was making an informed decision about home improvments. I will use them to do a tune-up on my central AC in the spring

It was perfect. They came and gave me an estimate which was fine for me and did the job on the spot. In total it took about 2 hours and required some parts for the heating system. The tech was great and I would use Clover again and have already recommended them to a neighbor. I just wish they were in NJ near my main home. Thanks.

I AM PURCHASING A NEW HOME AND NEEDED THE FURNACE LOOKED AT.I CALLED CLOVER AND THEY WERE WONDERFULL FROM THE FIRST PHONE CALLED I MADE TO THE TIME WHEN THE TECHNICIAN CAME OUT TO THE HOME.THE OFFICE WAS VERY HELPFULL IN MAKING AN APPT THAT WOULD FIT MY SCHEDULE AND THE TECHNICIAN WAS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND THOUROUGH.I WILL DEFINATELY BE CALLING CLOVER FOR ALL MY HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING NEEDS.THEY WERE A PLEASURE TO DO BUSINESS WITH.WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!

THEY ARE REALLY EXCELLENT. THEY HAVE AN EXCELLENT STAFF. THEY'RE REALLY COMPETENT, THOROUGH AND PERSONABLE. IT WAS A VERY IMPRESSIVE EXPERIENCE. THE BOSS HIRES REALLY GOOD PEOPLE. I THOUGHT THEY WERE GENERALLY VERY GOOD. THEY WERE RESPONSIVE. THEY DID THE JOB AS THEY QUOTED. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS FRUSTRATING WAS THAT THE MAN DIDN'T REALLY SPEAK ENGLISH VERY WELL. HE HAD TO CALL ON THE PHONE WITH THE OWNER, AND I HAD TO SPEAK TO THE OWNER. HE HAD TO SPEAK TO ANOTHER GUY, AND IT WOULD'VE BEEN BETTER IF WE COULD HAVE COMMUNICATED BETTER. I THOUGHT IT WAS A FAIR PRICE BASED ON IT BEING THREE WEEKS INTO A HEAT WAVE.
