From first introductory telephone contact through the last day of the work, Carlos was prompt, responsive, congenial, attentive, thorough, accommodating and professional. His estimate was detailed and comprehensive, and he always communicated fully and promptly. I was very pleased with the price. When additional issues were discovered in the course of the work - rotted wood needing replacement - he promptly pointed out the need for the extra work, discussed how best to handle it with me, accommodated it in his schedule and gave me a very reasonable price. He was also proactive in finding the most efficient and timely way to get the work done in spite of very uncooperative wet weather. The paint job itself is excellent. I have a 200 year old clapboard house and there are always issues. In every aspect of the work, his desire to do the best job possible was evident. I can find no fault and am happy to give the highest recommendation.

This job happened two years ago, but only recently was I able to see the end result for myself. Carlos did a very good job on the door, and for a very reasonable price.* I don't know him personally and don't know what size job he is capable of executing, but I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for another small job. *Because it's been so long, I don't remember for certain the price he charged, just that I was very impressed with it. It was not more than $150.00.

Based on the reviews on this site, I called Carlos to come by and give an estimate. He did come by and survey the job and said he would give us an estimate within 48 hours. I followed up after day three and he said he would get back to me in another 48 hours. Two weeks later, no estimate still. Not a good way to drum up business. I would not recommend calling him if you are seeking a timely response. Now b/c we gave him a chance, we are behind 2 weeks and need to start over with estimates.

Very well. Arrived on time to give an estimate. Was responsive to the concerns I had regarding rotting wood. Kept me informed about when he would be there to work. All of his workers were polite and also did a good job of leaving the area clean and tidy.

Found Carlos on The List, based on the previous review. It was bang on. Very impressed by his diligence and professionalism. He came when he was scheduled to, completed all deliverables on time and on budget. Even did some additional work (painted a small basement entrance wall) that was not part of the original scope. And his estimate was well below the two other estimates I received for this job. Already planning to have him come back later this summer for some interior work. He listens well (very important to me) and is a good communicator.

Carlos got rave reviews from the two people I called for references and I now agree with those very positive reviews. He came a week earlier than he told me, worked with just 2 others, worked every day for long hours, were focused on their work intently. The quality is very good. Consulted with me when I had decisions to make about color. Two neighbors have now asked him to paint for them because they were impressed with how hard the men worked. And that was before they heard my positive experience. His price was very fair. Excellent experience overall.

He was exceptional! he is a total professional, neat clean and prompt. No paint was dropped on the floor, the work was meticulous and I could not recommend them high enough.

I am absolutely going to use Carlos again. He is great and you can't beat the prices for the great work he does. He is detailed and meticulous. He is personable and a master at what he does. He is also licensed and insured as well.
