Prestige Marble Dusting

I wanted to give a better review of the company as most of the work they performed was great. However, as many contractors do towards the end of a big job, they never quite finish despite repeated promises to do so. They never installed the plumbing for the waste line of the new pool filter. They accidently chipped one of the brand new coping stones they installed and never repaired it. The last thing was they basically destroyed the lawn on the side of my property which they used to run power equipment over. The property needs to be regraded as a result and they left a tremendous amount of gravel and sand behind. The owner Billy promised me personally to address each of these items but never did. For this reason I cannot recommend using this company to anyone considering hiring them. If you do, at least protect yourself by holding back a significant amount for final payment until the job is totally completed. It's very difficult to find an honest, professional contractor anymore - especially in the pool business.

The crew arrived and started on the Brick coping first, initially it look good, but the workers were yelling at each other the whole time they were at my home rushing, they didn't clean the excess concrete that squeezed out from underneath the coping when they set it in the wet concrete, they had to cut it off the next day with a diamond saw. Water line tile was installed, Two new return jets were installed and they marble dusted the pool, I filled the pool with water, once the pool was filled, it was discovered that the coping and waterline tile was not level, the coping and tile are wavy compared to the water, then the two return jets that were installed were leaking water on the backside. The lazy sloppy workers did not fill the hole in the concrete pool that the new returns were passing thru with concrete, they did return to fix what should have been accomplished the first time on the return jets. I contacted Bill the owner to discuss the coping and tile issue, he said he would be by to take a look, he never showed up, I contacted his office and his wife Kelly said it was accomplished 100% perfect, but she never looked at it. Eventually Bill came by and agreed it was not level and said he would talk to his wife about it (what?). I contacted their office, they didn't answer the phone, but I did receive an e-mail  5 minutes later from Kelly asking what it is that I want, I told them I wanted it fixed, I paid $5500.00 for the coping and Tile and it looks like a 5th grader did it. If your paying someone to do the work it should be perfect. These people are not professional at, Their Office assistant Cassandra was the only one who was nice and professional. The workers are a bunch of slobs, their price is reasonable but you get what you pay for.
