buying services, errand service
+ 0 moreI was recovering from medical services and needed some groceries. Judy had been doing house cleaning and offered to go get them for me. I found that she is very careful to get exactly the brand and price I was looking for. If anything she is too careful. She has since found a number of people in the Phoenicia NY area who need her help!
Description of Work: Judy’s Errand Service Recently, a local care-giver and children’s entertainer expanded her services in the Catskill Mountain area to meet the needs of shut-ins and the elderly. While I was recuperating she did house-keeping and went grocery shopping for me. She did a very thorough job of selecting and delivering the requested groceries, and her charges were reasonable and negotiable. She prefers to combine service for several parties into one trip. If I had no car and had to take the bus I understand the driver could have prevented me from carrying a lot of groceries on the bus. Taking the taxi would have cost as much as $40 each way, plus hops between stores, and getting to my home! Judy runs errands daily, weekly or monthly. She provides senior discounts and references.
