On the moving end it was fine. After the workers left I knoticed a Large discrepancy in the time's. Instantly I contacted The Office to say that Primarily the Job was fine but there was a large Financial Discrepancy that was proven by the fact the crew was at the next job at the time they listed as having Departed. I asked if the office managered agreed that the discrepancy was obvious. I explained the job was for my mother, said they would hear from her and hung up. I, as the cheated customer I held every right to be aggravated. And still do. When followed up, the response was that "He didn't like the way I spoke to his wife". I have no concern who works for the company, I just don't want to be stolen from. Instead of customer services, I received a completely unbusiness related response, and no attempt to reconcile the gross financial theft he had performed. The concept that the business OWNER took his own business mistakes and made it instantly a personal manner is a flag that you to may have customer services issues if you choose the company. The work was fine. However, I was wronged by the company and then nothing was done but the expression of the owner's personal insecurities. Be Careful and read everything they give you promptly. It may be good manual labor, but there is a lack of honest accounting and customer service skills.

Never having moved more than a carload of stuff before, my husband and I had never used a moving company and didn't know what to expect.  We did our homework, but reviews of various companies were either wildly varied or nearly nonexistent.  We got three estimates from representatives of large nationwide van lines.  One company never followed up to encourage our business, and another seemed interested in signing us, but I was worried that they were too big and busy to care about us and our belongings afterward.  Jernick is a family run operation and they made me feel very comfortable with them.  The representative who came to our house to estimate our job was fair, honest, courteous, and pleasantly laid back, not pushy or slick at all.  His estimate was lower than the others, and I thought the actual final price would wind up being much higher, but while the final weight turned out to be the same as the other estimates, the price was still considerably lower, so we were pleasantly surprised.  The whole staff was courteous, friendly, helpful, and professional.  Whenever we had questions or concerns they responded immediately.  We packed all our boxes ourselves, but they wrapped all the furniture on moving day and loaded the truck with care.  They even showed up early on both loading day and unloading day and were done far sooner than we expected.  Everything arrived in perfect condition, even my precious, delicate Christmas ornaments.  I wholeheartedly recommend them.

They are very helpful and I would use them again. They are still helping move all of my belongings.

Moved contents of small home from Eastern Long Island, NY to Tucson, AZ. Delivery came on schedule; crew was helpful. One box I marked dishes was banged up and some dishes were broken. They did not stay to re-assemble the hutch. One glass pane on the hutch had come loose and had to have some adjustments, but was repairable.
Packers on the Long Island end were actually with a smaller company, Jernick Moving of Greenport, NY. They did a top notch job of packing the glass table top and several paintings and prints. They all arrived in good condition.
