"While I value all feedback, this review does not indicate what we did at this job. I was there myself and I am an expert in radiant heat, but I was never at this home before and needed time to get familiar with what zones served different areas of the home. We diagnosed a bad relay which was caused by a bad circulator pump. We repaired the relay but I had no pump on the truck the first day and it was too late in the day to get one. I also had the customer turn on all heat zones from her thermostats. , She did not let us have access to the house that day due to covid concerns. 2 Zones were not activating by the thermostats at all. I jumped them out overnight to see where she would get heat. We returned the next day with a pump and replaced it. When bleeding the system we found a bad mixing valve which we replaced. I went upstairs to check the thermostats. There was the only access to the 2nd-floor thermostat which I took off the wall and jumped the wires with no change at the boiler. That thermostat tested good. The first-floor thermostat I was told was buried behind furniture and presents and could not be accessed. I never charged her the first day and only gave her a bill at the end of the 2nd day this was for the 4 hours we spent and materials there was no service call added on . When we left off I told her the thermostats would need further work and suggested she contact an electrician as I believed there was a wiring issue. We bled all the zones a second time on the second visit and asked her to see what was operating and if there were still issues. Radiant heat takes 24 hours to get fully hot so it was not apparent that day if everything was getting hot. She paid the bill and never mentioned it to me in any way or never contacted me afterward to let me know she was unhappy. We strive to make all our customers happy and I am truly sorry we did not in this case. I would have appreciated the opportunity to make the customer happy before she decided to leave this review.
