Finger Lakes Chrysler Dodge

The service is usually fine here except for the mechanic who brings the bill to us. He is always very pushy and tries to get more money out of us when we don't have it. He tried telling us that the PCV valve is going to cost us $185 to replace on our 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. The part itself, which I researched on the Mopar website for my van only cost $9-12. So I wonder where is the rest of the money goings. I may be a woman, but I am not stupid when it comes to cars. My husband works on ours to cut down on cost and my dad also taught me a few things when I got my first vehicle, and it was more than just changing a flat. So this guy at the dealership was trying to put one over on us even with my husband right there with me. This guy is always pushy and I don't like going here but I am still under warranty with Dodge and the dealership. They may do good work and prices may on some things may be good, but I don't like to be pushed around into things. Which is why I am currently considering looking for a better mechanic for our van but don't know of one yet.

I went into the car dealership just to look at a van because I was deciding whether to upgrade or not. I brought my children with me. Ted was fantastic with them other than offering them mountain dew lol :) He did everything he could to include them in what we were doing so they would not get bored. Best of all the apr he got me from the bank was a 1/3 of what I had on my last vehicle. I would recommend him to anyone!
