Todd is the best tradesman and the nicest person you would want to meet and that is based on my wife and my thoughts having lived on this planet for three quarters of a century. He is a consummate professional. He is fair, honest and does exceptional work. We first hired him to cut down our largest of about 20 giant oaks. The tree was dying and was a few feet from our house. Estimates included tree companies driving a bucket truck on our paver driveway. Todd said he could climb the tree without the necessity of a truck. We had a lot of firewood we wanted to give to a neighbor who had a wood stove for heating. Even though he was right across the street, other companies wanted to charge as much as $200 to ferry the wood to the neighbor. Todd did it without charge and his estimate was the best. That you don't forget.

Todd brought the firewood on time as promised, and stacked as requested. this wood is for a wood burning stove. There were no pieces that were too long for my stove, which is definitely a plus. Also their wood is definitely better than others we had used. All of them were hard woods. None were pulpy or soft wood like some other places we used. We are very satisfied with their product and will definitely use them again next year. 180 / cord 50 to stack

Very well. Trees cut down to ground level . Branches and trunk cut in sections and lowered to the ground with a great deal of care and precision.

Great, Todd was professional on the phone, punctual, and delivered the best wood I've received over 20 years of ordering wood. Very few odd shaped pieces, all logs cut to a perfect, useable fireplace size. The wood was dry and not covered in soil, no rot, and appeared seasoned. The price was a touch high for the 1/2 cord, but not overly so, considering the quality. I "wood" recommend him highly.

Last year we had a bad experience with another tree removal service (they were rushing so much, they also started cutting down a tree we did not want touched).  So when we now needed two more trees removed, we were understandably apprehensive.  
Luckily, I found the name of Woodland Arborcare, Inc. on Angie's List and was pleased by the "A" rating and positive customer comments as to how "professional" and "careful" the work is done.  Todd Holdridge, the owner of Woodland Arborcare, Inc., was able to come to give an estimate the same day I  called.  He arrived on time for the estimate, was pleasant, professional,  and gave a very fair price for the work..  When I express our concerns about no damage be done to any nearby shrubs and that we wanted branches to be "roped" down, he reassured me that would be how the removal would be done.  
The day of the work, Todd arrived on time with two additional men.   Todd was the actual "climber" and it was a pleasure to watch how careful and deliberate he was in taking down the two trees.  The stumps were ground down, all debris was removed and the property was left as it was before the work was started.   What a pleasure to have everything go well.  Woodland Arborcare will be our go-to tree service in the future.  

Todd Holdridge, the owner, arrived exactly on time with one worker. They started work immediately with Mr. Holdridge personally pruning the japanese maple and his assistant trimming the trees. These two people were fantastic.  The work was perfectly performed, neatly done and with such skill it was great to watch.  This company is absolutely professional, so much so that I wished they did general maaintenance, not just trees and bushes. I have already recommended this service to family members and  neighbors. Excellent.

Don't even think of using somebody else. Our treasured 80 foot high, 100 year old oak tree was 3 ft from the front of our house. It had given us great shade for over 42 years but it was dying year by year and needed to be removed. Doctors, lawyers, dentists, teachers, accountants, plumbers, electricians, and athletes call themselves professionals but they are no were equal to Todd who was sky high for 8 hours, holding on with one arm and having ropes latched to another tree with his assistants helping on the ground; all the while, while he was using a chainsaw. There was no room for error. The log cuts that came off were enormous and the branches coming down had to miss our structures-house, gutters, white vinyl porch and railings and white vinyl post lantern near our house. All of them were untouched. Todd was the only one in the tree and he was over 80 ft in the air as he started cutting.  Other estimates called for a big bucket crain and claw trucks to be on our paver driveway.  But we didn't know if our driveway could hold their weight of 35,000 pounds each. Todd came to the rescue and hand cut for 8 hours.

In addition Todd took the heaviest cuts in his pickup truck across the street to my neighbor who cuts them up for firewood. He also left me some stacked in my back yard for firewood at no additional charge. Surrounding the oak tree we had a 3 ft paver stone ring installed 2 years ago to highlight the tree, with flowers surrounding the outside of the ring. Todd and his crew took the ring apart and the flowers out so he could grind the stump below ground level. They put the ring back together and replanted the flowers also without additional charge. One paver in the driveway was cracked as a piece of wood had landed on it.  When this was called to Todd's attention, he took an extra paver that I had, that had to be cut and went out and had the paver cut to size and replaced it without leaving a trace of his work.  This was done quickly and efficiently without complaint.

His price was reasonable, fair and the lowest estimate of nine that we received. Two estimates were unbelievably double his price. Once the cutting was done, he had to come back to do the stump grinding. He didnt want to be paid until everything was completely done. I would never even think of using anyone else in the future.

Todd's price was more than fair.  He and his crew were wonderful.  They did everything they were supposed to do and more.  They arrived on schedule and did excellent work.  Would highly recommend him and would use him again in the future.

Todd from Woodland was prompt in responding to a request for an estimate.  Provided an detailed estimate defineing exactly what was to be performed.  Upon accepting the estimate, scheduled the dates for the work to be performed.  He and crew showed up both days on time and stayed at it until all work (plus a good number of small requested) were completed.  The entire crew was a pleasure to work with.  All debris was removed and property was left clean and neat.  Very pleased with the results and would recommend their services to all.
