"I was called by the homeowner to fix previous work that incorrectly done by a handyman. When I arrived on the job I installed baseboard for him in the bathroom and eliminated other baseboard in the bathroom. I also trimmed out the shower and adjusted the tub faucet. Six months later the homeowner called me back when he was going to have the tub deck tiled, because the faucet that was set by the handyman and adjusted by myself was not going to work. I returned to the job and I was accused of making the shower body leak which I never worked on. This was caused by the handyman and which was not leaking on my first visit. I explained that there would be an additional charge to fix this. At this time I also explained that the homeowner needed to get the paper work for the tub faucet from delta so that the issue could be resolved, since the handy man had taken the paperwork. The homeowner never called me back. If he had called me back, I would have returned to finish fixing the faucet. There was a balance due on the job, but I never asked him for it. The homeowner should have hired a professional from the beginning to avoid this situation. I did the best that I could with what I had to work with."
