"According to this customer, repair was over a year ago. I have no record of this repair, but since he is stating it was a $500.00 repair, the only repair that is 500.00 is a refrig compressor. But he does say what repair is. So giving someone such a review without some sought of explaination isnt quite fair or maybe even not real."
While the above was going on, my washer needed the above repair, so he took care of that and I paid him a fair price. But when I next did a wash, there was a loud hum all through the wash cycle. He came back to fix it. And left. And when I did my wash the hum was still there, as it is to this day.
I might add that, while I had the impression he was coming at 9, he didn't show up till 9:30. He later claimed it was a "window". Fair enough, but it would have been nice to know that in advance!
Throughout, he never called me to give me progress reports and I had difficulty getting him on the phone. He has now washed his hands of me.
I complained to Bureau of Consumer Affairs and he answered the complaint with two pages of lies and exaggerations about how nasty, demanding and unreasonable I was. Just claim the customer is a jerk and no third party can say you're not justified in what you have(n't) done...
Repair was a success.
