Where do I begin?! I gave him 1 "D'", as apposed to all F"s is because I can't judge his punctuality , he made sure not to come when I was home when He was doing the initial job!  It was a mess from the beginning. If you're considering to use him-DON"T DO IT -IF YOU DO -   Don't say I didn't warn you. This is my disclaimer. Sorry, now I'll try to explain.  I called from an add in the Penney Saver. He came right away, that was good he quoted be a price that I didn't know at the time way way...........over priced but at that time I just wanted the job done. We planned over the phone that the job would be done mostly when I was t work.  He did a crappy job - didn't even wash the deck prior to painting. Within the 1st day (24hrs) I know he did a shi!!y job. He painted when the wood was wet, he painted over mold and dirt - He talked me into letting him use a "super paint by Sherwin Williams - ok that was my second fault. The outdoor rugs on my front porch have been "glued" down since then after he painted the  floor and didn't wait for it to dry. . The paint bubbled up & pealed up ever since. It's still not right. The next Fall, Butler "settled" with me because he thought I was gonna sue  him. I only got half my money back and whatever he put on my deck is still sticking to it here and there! It's a mess.

Didn't properly prepare the surfaces prior to painting my decks last Summer. The paint stayed tacky for weeks.  By this Spring the paint was peeling a lot. He came back to fix it but painted over mold and the surfaces were wet when it "fixed" it. It peeled and bubbled up again. That was a month ago. He offered to give me half my money back and made me sign a paper that He wasn't responsible for any more repairs. I took the money so I wouldn't have to spend time & energy taking Him to small claims court.

First I let Him talk me into using a "super paint" instead of a stain that I wanted. That was my first mistake. The paint stayed tacky for weeks. Then it stuck to my outdoor rugs over the winter. By this Spring the paint peeled and bubbled up in many places.  He painted over mold and dirt and He had also painted pine needles in to the cracks. I don't believe the deck was prepared properly to begin with. He did return this Spring to re-scrape and paint the peeling paint from the decks.  After it rained once it immediately bubbled up and peeled again. Bottom line - I accepted half money back; in return He didn't have to deal with my decks anymore. I took the loss, He didn't want to have to fix it again, I don't believe He would have (or could have) done it right and I didn't want to spend the time and energy taking Him to small claims court. My Decks look like crap and the rugs are still stuck to them.
