Culligan Water Conditioning of Scotia NY

Albany NY.....I bought an RO system ran just to the kitchen sink. The tech came on a Friday afternoon. Saturday night I went down and saw all this water on my basement floor. A slow leak so I waited until the next day and reported it to the salesman and 24/7 service along with the fact that I had purchased an extra set of filters which were not left. NO ONE CAME TO LOOK/FIX THE PROBLEM!! So on Monday morning I hired my own plumber to fix it (a nut which was loosened by the tech and not tightened enough) and BLOCKED this company from my phone. If they don't care to hear me then I DON'T CARE TO HEAR THEM ASKING FOR PAYMENT!!!! They are incompetent and thieves. I ignored them for 2+ years and then they brought me to court. Because I didn't respond to the courts I lost out and had to pay them. THEY SUCK!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

They were punctual, professional and the cost of their equipment and services are what stood out to me. It was two people that came to do the installation.

They done the job in about 6 hour day.

Sophia was our salesperson and she did a great job helping us understand the various features and options. We decided to go with the Culligan Gold Series Automatic Water Conditioner with the Aqua Sensor.



They arrived on the day as scheduled. They removed the old water softener. There was no way to turn off the water so they added a turn off valve. They told us there was a little bit of water that splashed in when they added the valve. They installed the new system. They made sure we understood how the system worked and provided information on how to reach them with questions. They were good about follow up about a week later to make sure we were happy.



We are happy with the new system. It is very quiet compared to the old that had died. There has been a noticeable decrease to the hardness of the water. This is especially appreciated during the winter when your skin can get so dry. Bottom line, is the product works as promised.



Our biggest disappointment was in the amount of water that splashed in. Several months later we found mold up to 15 feet away. If we had been aware of the amount of water that had gushed in, we would have dried it out and not had the mold problem.

Salesgirl was extremely knowledgeable about which Culligan product was the best solution to my water issues(mostly hardness). She analyzed the samples, explained the results and didn't oversell the system. Answered all my questions honestly and I ended up adding the R.O. system after comparing the taste to my tap (the ppm of contaminants/sediments/chemicals before and after went from 300 to 11). If you like good coffee, I highly recommend it. As for the softener, I no longer have to run a cleaner through the dishwasher once a month ($5/month savings alone) and with a stainless steel dishwasher, it's noticable. I'm very impressed that the shower door no longer is spotted which was always a PITA to clean. I don't always go with name brands but in this case, it's reassuring to know the company has proven themselves over time and will be there when I need them.
Installation was as promised. No delays, added costs, or upselling. Dan came in and we discussed some options and he even hooked up my refrigerator tap to the R.O. which gives me clearer ice cubes and no need to ever change the filter cartridge(on the fridge). He also added soft water to my garage spigot so I can wash the car and avoid the spots. I don't know how I went so long without it.

The man from Culligan showed up right on time and was able to repair the leak and replace the chlorinating system with no problems. He was a pleasant man and did his job quickly. There were no surprises. He cleaned up everything nicely and I would certainly recommend their services to others.

Culligan Water Conditioning is very professional and they are always here when we need our salt without having to call them and letting them know. I like the fact that we do not have to think about when we need the salt and having to carry those heavy bags in and filling the water softener.

WE HAVE BEEN SATISFIED, MY WIFE IS SATISFIED. WE ONLY SEE THEM ONCE A YEAR FOR MAINTENANCE. THE WORK THEY HAVE PERFORMED HAS BEEN EXCELLENT. THE PRESENTATION THEY MADE REGARDING THE EQUIPMENT AND THE WATER SOFTENER WAS UP TO PAR.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD. I DID HAVE THEM YEARS AGO. I WASN'T HAPPY WITH THEIR SYSTEM, BUT THIS GUY EXPLAINED THINGS BETTER. I DON'T HAVE MUCH OF A CHOICE BUT SO FAR, I'M HAPPY WITH IT.

IT WAS EXCELLENT CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT THE INSTALLATION WAS VERY GOOD, PROMPT AND PROFESSIONALLY HANDLED WITH ANY PROBLEM THAT WE HAD AFTERWARDS. AS SMALL AS IT MAY HAVE SEEMED, THEY'RE RIGHT THERE TO CHECK IT OUT AND TO MAKE SURE THAT IT'S OKAY.

THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL. THEY AREN'T PUSHY AND ARE VERY WILLING TO WORK WITH MY SCHEDULE. THEY ALWAYS REMIND ME WHEN SERVICES ARE DUE, BUT THEY DON'T TALK ME INTO ANYTHING EXTRA. I DON'T FEEL LIKE I'M BEING PUSHED INTO ANYTHING.

WE HAVE ANOTHER PROBLEM THAT WE THINK THEY CAUSED THE LAST TIME THEY WERE HERE. MY INITIAL FEELING WAS THAT THEY WERE REALLY GOOD THE FIRST TIME THEY WERE HERE, THAT THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HAD FIXED THE PROBLEM. NOW WE'RE QUESTIONING THE WORK THAT WAS DONE.

IT'S ONLY BEEN A SHORT TIME, BUT I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS, AND THE STUFF WORKS LIKE IT'S SUPPOSE TO. THAT'S WHAT I PAY FOR. THEY REALLY DID A GOOD JOB ON THE INSTALLATION. THERE WAS A LOT OF PLUMBING WORK TO DO, AND THEY TOOK CARE OF THAT NICELY.

THEY DID THEIR WORK QUICKLY. THEY DID EVERYTHING IN ONE DAY. THEY SAID THAT IF WE HAVE ANY PROBLEMS TO CALL BACK. THE QUALITY IS GOOD, AND WE HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN OUR WATER. THE SYSTEM SEEMS TO BE DOING ITS JOB. THEIR PRICE WAS FAIR.

THEY'RE VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND THEY ALWAYS COME ON THE DAY THEY SAY THEY'RE COMING WHEN DELIVERING SALT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. THEY'VE DONE A GOOD JOB FOR US.
