The only reason I am rating a B in price, is that my husband felt the price was a little high. However, for the quality of work, their speed and efficiency...and the fact that it has been at least 15 years since that problem was fixed before!...I actually felt the price was quite fair. So I would absolutely say don't let price deter you from hiring Adam and his company!!!!!
I knew this before I spent my money for the opinion.
"I have not yet been able to locate a discontinued Culligan brand product for this customer. I provided the customer with a "Softener Check-Up" within days of the purchase, went out once to check the softener, the same softener that the customer was already told by another source that it was broken. I gave the customer a recommendation for determining what was wrong with the softener, which he followed. I returned, for FREE when the test of the softener failed and told the customer exactly what was wrong with the softener and what needed to be replaced. I told him that if I could locate the part that he needed, which I told him was discontinued, that I would repair the softener for amount mentioned. I did not guarantee in any way that I would be able to locate the part and, until this review was posted, had continued for months to try to find the discontinued part that he needed. As stated, I have not located the needed part as of yet. The deal that the customer purchased was a "Softener check-up", not a "Softener Repair". I feel that I gave this customer more than what he paid for, and although I am not happy that this customer is not satisfied, I feel that this review is overly harsh, especially since I have not once received a phone call about the status if my search."
One of our new faucets was defective and began leaking the night after installation. Adam helped us get the attention of the manufacturer (Delta) and the local supplier -- on a Saturday -- so that a new faucet was available for him to install on Monday. Both Delta and the local supplier had expressed no interest in helping us ("It will take three weeks to deliver a new one, if we can get it, and we can't give you a replacement part before then") until Adam -- in a thoroughly professional manner -- went to bat for us. After his intercession, a part was miraculously found. He came on Monday to install it, and the faucet has performed flawlessly since then.
We appreciate his work, and are enjoying our new faucets. We feel we now know a reliable and skilled contractor to help us next time we need it.
