Excellent responsive services. They send individuals out who do the bedding and anything that I would need. Plumbing, electrical, masonry, contracting work, painting, fixing stuff around the house, and if it doesn't work out, they will send someone else.

Umbrella referred this individual to me. I have also used Umbrella people for yardwork, handyman services. Usually they are very good.

He is a quiet fellow and I can always count on a good job being done.  He goes to other home of elderly people to help.  They are very helpful people. If you are not satisfied with the person that comes out, you can call and let them know.  When they leave they give you a slip in triplicate and you write your comments on it.

Great so far. A little time getting coordinated.

In each case, the person who came ws punctual, personable, and took pride in doing a good job.  Each job was billed according to Umbrella at $12 per hour.  I felt that was a very reasonable rate.
Also, when I have called Umbrella for assistance, they have always bee reliable and helpful.
I am so grateful Umbrella exists.  I will continue to use them and I highly recommend them.

He arrived on time, got the ladder and changed the filter and corrected the clocks that were mounted high on the walls. He then wnt outside and hosed down all the dust and pollen from the a/c condenser. He wiped his feet when he came in, filled out the form/invoice and had me sign it for validation. All this was done within an hour's timeframe and I paid him $12 for the entire job.

We have been very satisfied with two of them. The current one I need to call Umbrella & tell them that she has not showed up. My experience with them is that they will very promptly look for someone else to replace her. The service itself is very good. If there is a problem with any of the people that they hire they take care of it right away. It is a membership fee that you pay & then you have to give 12/hr for most of it such as handyman work, carpentry, house cleaning & taking people to the doctor. For the electricians, you pay a reduced rate that they give to Umbrella, it is less than you would pay if you contacted someone directly. Also, they have a 24 hour emergency service for the plumbing & electricity.

The contractor was prompt & tried to do the work in the most cost effective way possible. He kept us informed all along on with what he was doing & when he wasn't able to do the most cost effective way, he would explain why & ask us if we wanted to do the more expensive way.

Umbrella is a service offered to senior citizens pretty much can do any type of handyman work at the cost of only $10 per hour, which saves us a lot of money. The exceptions to this are plumbing and electrical work for which a higher rate is charged. Many of the works are retired folks as well, coming from the back grounds in which they now do. It is a valuable service in our area, and more people should know about it. I cannot give you the price for all the help they have given us, but I can guarantee it is much less than you would have to pay anyone else.
