He put in used breakers and after we had problems we called two other electricians to fix his mess.

I am at this time working on a case against this company and the 3rd party people that did an inspection after this company performed the work as the 3rd party inspection people passed it without doing the inspection on almost 2 occasions. I approached the 3rd party people the second time and warned them they did me wrong. I have many pictures and some videos from start to finish. I will exercise my rights and proceed against both until this gets resolved. This company and 3rd party put my family in jeopardy and if it was not for National Grid failing the work performed this could have been a bad situation. Do not use as your family could be in danger because of the quality of work he performs. Just look at the picture and clearly he does not know what he is doing and I have many more to offer and video film.

The kitchen work was fine. In the bedroom the new fan was a Craftmade with a universal remote,the installer did not program the new remote to work with receiver in the light. The Minka fan which was being replace came with a factory installled remote reciver and its' own hand remote. I called he came again and told me I did not know how to use the remote and it was just find and charged me an additional &75.00. After this the company rep for Craftmade came as well as the electrilcal person from the lighting store I purcahsed it from. They told me there was no way a Minka remote could control a univeral receiver and I was lucky he had not burned out the receiver, they took down the fan found the instructins on the receiver to program the remote and it now works like a charm. Called Slingerland Electric to tell them this and ask for the $75 back as the second visit did not solve the problem. I was told on FEb. 2 he would have the money dropped off, as of March 1st I have not seen it even after several phone calls, two of which I received no response from. Would not use again,

It took a while to connect and schedule a time. When I scheduled the work we talked extensively about the job: new outside electric outlet. When the electrician came, he was surprised to hear it was a new outlet; he thought it was a repair. He went ahead and started the work then left for an hour to purchase the materials. He was quiet, neat, professional, cleaned up behind himself,quick. I was a bit surprised to have a $55 bill for materials when the Deal was for Installation of an Outside Electric Outlet.

The serviceman was very good, He fixed the two lights immediately and had to order a part for the fan. When the part came in, he came back and repaired the fan in a short time.

Originally purchased a special ($99 for two hours labor), plus parts. They were willing to come now, in December, even though I told them I could wait until Spring (outdoor work, and unheated attic). They cheerfully came anyway, thanks! Showed up punctually, Bob knew exactly what he was doing, finished in 1 hour, 55 minutes. Since he had done so well on that, I asked him to perform an additional task, for an additional charge, of course. Although that wasn't on the agenda for today, he accommodated me with no hesitation. So far, everything seems to be working great.

the serviceman called prior to coming and was prompt. He had the equipment, knowledge, and parts on hand to evaluate and replace the faulty pieces. He had them both fixed within the timeframe and explained to me what was wrong. I am very satisfied with the work.

I had bought the $99 special for 2 hours of labor. I wanted to replace the switch and outlets as mentioned above, as well as install 3 additional outlets in the same room. It took 2-3 emails to finally contact the provider to arrange a time to have the work done. No one showed up at the scheduled time, so I rescheduled for a week later. Again no one showed up. Made arrangements for a third time, when the electrician finally showed up. He replaced the existing outlets and switch (I had a short in the wiring which he fixed) but did not bring any wiring with him to install the additional outlets. He also ran out of time to do that, as he spent a lot of time bragging about himself. When he left, he told me he could do the additional work another time, and gave me HIS PERSONAL business card (not the company he was working for at the time).

"Very sorry for what happened, as a Business owner we hire people who don't always work out with a company setting. I wish you could of let me know of this before going public with a bad review. But than again i guess i would be MAD to if i received 3.5 hours of Electrical work and $25 in material for $99.00 also. And than complain about it here so that you can get a refund. I surly do not need customers like you! My true customers appreciate the great service they all get and appreciate the very fair price i give for the work they get. I always offer money back, if you were so un- pleased as you said, i have never had one call back from you. FUNNY how only the customers that complain get noticed and request something for free, where the hard working cutomers who appreciate Quaility work at a resonable rate are always the best and never complain.. Thanks again to all the loyal Customers out there, and well for the ones only looking for free work.. We offer that as well to the Churches, and customers that really need it. Ols saying if you have nothing nice to say than keep it to yourself, if you want to share negative reviews and slander someones business, WELL THAN, call first and complain because we would oif fixed it or done it for free if you werent 100 % SATISIFIED......"
