Red Oak Landscaping

We originally contacted Scott to scope out two projects, but decided on just the one to start for budget reasons. The proposal phase was straight forward and Scott provided clear options with pros and cons. We ended up overhauling the bricks in our front entryway and while it cost more, it is very clear that it is worth it. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the team get to my house around 730am. Once they showed up, they rocked out the entire project in just a few hours and even knocked some of the cost off to be fair around their time. Totally unnecessary and unexpected and just shows the attention to detail extends beyond the physical work! Beautiful job, can't wait to have them back for a much bigger project in mind!

I have a mixed review with him. It took a while because he forgot that he gave me the timeframe. There were certain parts that I like about him. Some parts of it are fabulous and some parts of it are not so hot. His dad was great on the phone. He is young. I might look elsewhere. When I suggested that the tree he replaced looked just as bad as the tree that was tree, he just said it will grow in. I just think he wasn’t really listening what I was saying but I think if he’d listen a little bit more and got a better idea.

Red Oak Landscaping was a wonderful company to deal with. We called for an estimate, Chris came out and took measurements and got an idea of what we were looking for.  He came back with plans drawn up and went through a detailed list of what they would do for the estimate he gave us.  They even included pulling out some old stones and bushes that didn't belong where they were.  They replaced the stone with mulch and bushes that were appropriate.  They showed up at 7:00 a.m. on the day they said they would come.  I got home from work around 5:00p.m. that same day and they were gone and had finished the job.  He even threw in fixing some of the shrubbery around our front lamp post.  Very professional, honest and easy to work with.

I have used this landscaper many times for various landscaping work on our property.  He is easy to work with, price is fair and work done is amazing.  His work is neat as he cleans up wonderfully after the job is done.  Project is done on time or earlier and listens to what the homeowner wants done and does exactly what he contracts to do.  I will continue to use his expertise over and over.

Rain or shine, Red Oak showed up to cut our lawn. They would cut our lawn if the grass was soaked, if the grass had not grown since the last time they cut our lawn, and they would cut our lawn leaving piles of cut grass and deep ridges from their equipment sinking into our yard. We contacted Scott and complained about the ridges dug into our lawn from their equipment. A few weeks later he left a voice mail that he did not see any problems related to the mowing of our lawn.
