Pete The Plumber NY

We hired Pete the plumber in 2018 for a toilet clog. He charged us close to $400 dollars for removing the toilet and running the snake through. Fast forward until now we have the same issue. When I called I wanted to double check the price. He said $275. When I mentioned my previous experience with him over the phone he claimed that was not him that he never charges that much money. When he came over i showed him the receipt he gave me in 2018. He said he charged me that much money cause he had to remove the toilet bowl and walked right out not even having the decency to ask how can he help. Would I hire him again? Absolutely NOT! Would I recommend him? NO!!!!

I called Pete at 9:30am and he was at my house at 1pm. He provided quick and professional service and a very fair price.

Professional fast work.

There is that guy who when he commits to doing something has to do it right. He will not quit until the job is done to his satisfaction which is the right way. Pete solved a problem that others could not do.

We had tried EVERYTHING to clear this drain, liquids, gels, plungers and snakes. Nothing worked. Pete cleared it quickly. Pleasant, prompt, and reasonably priced!

Pete was great he called and asked if he could come earlier than the arranged time which was perfect for us. He repaired our old tub faucet and installed beautiful new fixtures. He made sure everything was working and cleaned up the area before he left. We already hired him again for another repair. Thank you Pete!!

Pete came at the agreed time and was very professional. He looked at the problem and suggested a simple solution I could do to try to fix the issue. He told me in detail what to do. He did not charge for his travel (20 miles) or his time. If the suggestion doesn't work the only other option is to replace the drain and he described what that would entail.

I called on a holiday weekend a 7 am, after waking up to a leaky basement. Pete called back at 7:30 and was at our place by 10. I figured I'd be lucky to get anyone to even answer the phone. He was honest, professional, finished quickly and cleaned everything up well. I would not hesitate to call him again.

It went very nicely. Pete came the next day and did the job to my satisfaction. He was very pleasant also.

Pete's GREAT No nonsense, gets the job done

Supurb. Pete actually answers his phone which is really unusual these days. Called him in the morning, explained the backup into the house and he said he would be there in ~ three hours. Arrived when he said he would, calling me ten minutes before he arrived to say he was on the way. Cleared the line in under an hour, cleaned up and was on his way. Pete should be in the training business to show service providers how to be responsive, punctual and deliver competent service. First class guy all the way.

Called up Pete and he was there in a couple days. Worked in a tight area to get the repair done and add valves to the system. Work was a little pricey but I guess that is not unusual for emergency service which can't wait. Good quality work.

when my water heater caused a flood in my basement, I called Pete. He arrived promptly the next day as promised and replaced the heater. His work was efficient and quick. After the water heater was installed, Pete cleaned up the entire area, showed me he correct temperature that the heater should be set at and answered all my questions. If I need a plumber again, it will certainly be Pete.

Pete called back quickly and did the work the next day. We’ve used Pete before and call on him for quick, honest, courteous service.

He's wonderful. He's done a lot of things for me. To be honest with you, my sister, who lives in Albany, although another company, who is ranked A on your list, said they couldn't do something. She called him and he did it in under a half an hour. I was very happy with them. In fact, I have a phone call into him right now.

He was prompt, friendly and courteous, explained the problem, and did a great job cleaning the mess. Most importantly, he fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. Though I hope we won't be needing his services too often, I won't hesitate to recommend him to family & friends.

I first found Pete over a year ago when my kitchen sink wouldn't drain (and dishwasher became part of problem). I called Pete and he came quickly and was able to get everything out of sink, and connected plumbing that was causing back-up. He saved the day! I have since called Pete few times for toilet trouble.

Line plugged, called at 8:30am, Pete arrived at 11:30 am, snaked line from trap, called first to say he'd be early. Fantastic, prompt and responsive. Uses drop cloths, careful and thorough. You cannot beat Pete the Plumber even with a stick...great value too. This is about the fifth time we have used him with our 40 year old house, bath, kitchen and vanity fixtures, leaks, and line snaking-- he seems to do it all and treats the customer as no one else.

Swell, called Pete and he promptly responded. We set up an appointment and he arrived exactly when he said he would. With his prior guidance, I had purchased Moen faucets after shopping around to get best prices, including online. The shower and bath faucet required a fair amount of time and labor given the number of joints that had to be soldered. The kitchen faucet went more quickly. He was careful, used floor coverings, cleaned up and his workmanship was excellent. This kind of high quality, responsive service is exceedingly rare these days. Also, when we have needed urgent help in the past, he has always responded immediately and helped us to the very best of his ability. Pete is the very best and has always given us excellent value for whatever work we have needed done. Angie's superb A ratings of Pete are right on target based on our past and present experiences.

I was extremely pleased with Pete's work. I called him and he arrived before the hour was up. He fixed my sink in no time and I was very pleased with everything. He was both pleasant and professional.
