When we first called to inquire about putting in a walkway and privacy trees the owner, Jeff, was very efficient about returning our phone calls, bringing us sample pavers, and even met us at a house that he had completed a job at so we could see his work. Once we agreed to terms and gave him a check the work started and it seemed to be great. Going into this we knew that unexpected issues may arise and the job gets postponed a little but a job that was promised to be finished in two weeks took over 12 weeks to finish. We would wait and wait and wait and finally we would call him asking what was going on, he would promise to come the next day, would show up in two, and do a little bit of work. We would say, "ok he came and is doing the work! Awesome" and then the work would stop. Another couple of weeks would go by and no work, no calls to us, only frustration and an ugly front yard. We would call him he would come, one more day of a little bit of work, then disappear for another week. We finally gave him a final call to almost beg for the work to be done and he finished up the job, demanded the final payment right away and we never heard from him again. He said when he finished the job he would go over the care of the plants but that never happened. The finished product was everything that we had asked for, and the front landscaping was more than we had expected, but the frustration of it all was not worth it. The only thing that he put in that we were not impressed with was the sprinkler system. We had a system put in when we built our house but with the new walk way and trees a lot of the heads had to be moved. I think he came back three times to fix the heads he installed and there was a leak in the main pipe that he buried and had to bring up to fix after the landscaping was all in. The sprinkler system work didn't feel like that of a pro.
