FRIENDS LUMBER INC

Needed a custom red, oak threshhold for my bathroom doorway.  I had wanted to raise up the original marble threshhold, but it broke while being taken out and I chipped several tiles on the floor in the process.   After determining I couldn't replace the tiles, we decided on making a new threshhold out of red oak that could cover up the chipped tiles.  After having such an item priced at another shop for over $80, I did a little more research and was pointed toward Friends Lumber.  Friends didn't have the wood in stock, but told me where to get it.  I got it that day and brought it to Friend's the next.  While I ran an errand, the shop gentleman at Friends did the necessary cuts as shown in a scale drawing I had made.  In the end, instead of over $80 for the wood and labor, I paid less than $25 for both, and had the pleasure of getting my project completed on the same day I brought in the wood.
