"My name is Bob Dressler, owner of Dressler's Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, and also the person this client is referring to. I am not your average "Joe" carpet cleaner. I have been in the carpet cleaning business for over 20 years and am very confused about this report. I picked up the 5 carpets mentioned to be cleaned with no pick-up charge. As a convenience to the client, I arranged to be there when the moving truck was there and took them right off the truck. At that time, we arranged to clean two other carpets on location when I brought the area rugs back to the home. Again, delivery was free of charge. Most other companies charge for pick-up and delivery. And unfortunately, because of this situation and others like it, I now have to also. In some situations, I will roll the carpets out when I bring them back if preperation is done ahead of time so I can just roll them out. My prices are such that I cannot afford the time to move heavy furniture on my own in order to lay area rugs back down after they are cleaned. I take pride in all my work and tend to have a full day of work scheduled with exact appointment times. In order to move all the furniture in each room, roll the carpet out, and then put the furniture back, I would have to know in advance and would have to had to charge for this service. I always act professionally and for anyone to say that i made an inappropriate comment, or assume they know what I am thinking, is of concern to me. Anyone who knows me knows I am not the "Joe" Dressler this client refers to and I can only assume her disappointment led her to exaggerate the facts. Please fell free to check out any of my other reviews on this sight or at www.servicemagic.com and make an educated decision."
