After 3 years of looking, I found David. He gave me a quote within a week (after checking on wood availability and discussing problems he foresaw). He was punctual within about 15 minutes of identified time and notified me if he was going to be late or had to leave, and why, ahead of time. Discussed a suggested change in material from pressure treated treads to mohagony treads before proceeding. Examined a second floor porch eave and determined it was only peeling and didn't need replacement (and adjusted estimate accordingly - which offset the extra cost of the mohagony). Was willing to work around the tree removal people. Removed all old wood and scraps. Any primer drips were cleaned up from visible surfaces immediately. Excellent work. He also gave me his cell phone number, which was 421-1649 and told me he always has the phone with him, if I should ever need his services again.
