It went terribly. The problems started with getting a copy of the contract we signed from them and continued all through the 14 month build. We had problems ranging from small to large which included them trying to cover up a hole they punched in the exterior sheathing, installing the weather wrap incorrectly, royally botching the drainage around the house leaving a swampy mess, leaks in the roof, mold that we found 14 days after moving in, and installing a driveway we couldn't even use. We were never consulted on any major decisions, one of the worst being their decision to dump tons of rocks on the slope in our back yard instead of building a retaining wall. We now have a hazardous backyard for any children that might venture into it. We didn't even know that such a move was being considered until we showed up to find the rocks already in place. We've been fighting with them for over a year now to recover the cost of having to bring in someone else to fix the drainage, put up a retaining wall that was clearly needed but they wouldn't install, and to tear out and reinstall the driveway that was literally impossible to get cars in and out of without damaging them. Overall, we spent more than $13,000 on our brand new home just to fix the problems they left us with.
