TELESCO LAWNMOWER INC

I took my brand new factory defective pressure washer for service over three weeks ago still no pressure washer I had to call the manufacturer myself to expedite the part delivery, Icompletelyunderstand but this is not entirely their fault but they could have expedited the service. I still don't have a date of when I'm getting my machine back but according to the manufacturer maybe another week. Shame on generac and this shop for leaving me out to dry with out a power washer

I like going to Telescope. They are not fast but their service is good. I left my mower there in late November to be winterized so when spring comes along it would start right up. They finally called me in the end of March to pick it up, which was fine because I didn't need it until then anyway. I prefer giving them my business rather than the big box stores.
I've been going to them for seasonal service on my lawn mower for years. I have also purchased a mower from them and when I was having problems with it year 2 they fixed it without charge under warranty.

It took these people three weeks and multiple calls to even get back to me. I stopped by their shop in Scarsdale. They then told me the lawn mower had been fixed and it was $300. This is more than the cost of the same lawn mower NEW at Home Depot. No one ever called me to provide an estimate. They just went ahead and "fixed" it without ever informing me despite my repeated phone calls. Then they said I "never explicitly requested an estimate". Providing a simple 2 minute call before you start working on any machine (car, refrigerator, TV, lawn mower, etc) and informing the owner of at the very least a range of potential cost is a common practice. Yet these folks don't do that unless you "explicitly" use the phrase "please provide an estimate via phone before you proceed to fix". Absurd. Sneaky and dishonest. I would absolutely stay away from these people.
And by the way, the service they provide is extremely overpriced. And they didn't completely fix the machine! Stay away.

I purchased something from them about eight months ago for the generator. They are small family business. They are very easy to work with and excellent staff.

New Briggs and Stratton Generator needed warranty repair. Purchased elsewhere, but Telesco offers Briggs and Stratton warranty service. Unit was under warrantly, and was fixed quickly and correctly the first time, including ordering parts which came in promptly. Generator is too large to put in a car or SUV - I thought our only option was to rent a truck with lift gate to bring it to them, and then again to pick it up, but they offer an excellent (but optional) service to pickup and deliver the generator for a fixed fee. They explained this in advance, and it was a savings in both $$ and time to take them up on it.
I would use them again, and would feel comfortable recommending them for any repair or purchase.
