Description of Work: This relatively small space is filled with many, many things needed for the everyday operation of a house or apartment. (It is not the place you buy big equipment or lumber, for example.) My last purchases were two pair of pliers which they helped me select to meet my current needs. Prices are a little higher than Home Depot but the quality and service are always top notch.

 + -1 moreI have to say, that despite being in Scarsdale, these guys do not overcharge their customers. The two guys who work the upstairs counters are always professional and quite helpful. My only complaint is the rudeness and lack of motivation by the tall, gray haired, bearded man who works downstairs. He just doesn't want to work, and is deliberately unhelpful when one asks him for anything. Three times I have been to this place, and all three times I have had to go back upstairs to ask those guys to help me.
Description of Work: I have been to this hardware store three times to purchase several low price items.

 + -1 moreThe employees are great: they know about hardware and share their knowledge. The merchandise carried ranges from consumer goods (light bulbs, garden hose, sand, thermometers etc.) to real hardware store stuff (plumbing, electrical, etc.) The prices vary from very reasonable to rather high, depending on the item.
