Jimmy Nilaj and his team are the contractors we have ever worked with. He started by gut renovating my parents’ apartment for us and we have heavily leaned on him on the work needed in our almost 100 year old house. He is completely honest, thoughtful, patient and always willing to talk you through the project. The work is always delivered on time and with the care of an individual that not only stands by their work, but also treats the job as it were for his own home. You could not do any better than Jimmy - thank you for all you have done (and will do) for my family!

Jimmy and his crew did an amazing job on our kitchen. Start to finish it took exactly one month and for the amount of work that needed to be done, we were impressed by how quickly they finished the job. We will definitely be using them next year when we renovate a bathroom. Here our are top reasons for why we recommend using Nilaj General Construction: 1) We lived in our apartment while the work was being done and everyone was extremely respectful of that. Anytime construction is being done, it is impossible to not have a ton of dust and supplies but they did a great job of sealing off the area so that we were still able to use other parts of our apartment. We also really appreciated that no trash was ever left overnight, not even a small wrapper. It is never easy living in a space while renovating but we truly feel that all the workers went out of their way to make sure that we were as comfortable living there as possible while also efficiently getting the work done. 2) The whole crew was extremely hardworking. We wanted our job to be done as quickly as possible and because of that they worked on Saturdays and sometimes late at night. Jimmy also always asked us prior to working on a Saturday if that was ok and if they wanted to work late they always asked if that was ok with us. 3) The quality of the work is top-notch. While everyone was nice, they also delivered great results. We have now been using our kitchen for almost 3 weeks and we have yet to find anything that we are unhappy with. The tiles and backsplash were all carefully laid. We also had high hats installed and the lighting in our kitchen also greatly transformed the area. We have had guests over and a lot of people have commented that it all looks like high-quality work. If you are looking for someone to do any type of project, you should definitely give Jimmy a call. He always got back to us quickly (usually same day) and we really feel like we could trust him. We are looking forward to working with him again in the future.

The whole project was excellent!  I  could not be more pleased with everything about this company - from honesty & integrity to the quality of the work.  Really nice, respectful & considerate employees . . . and they clean up beautifully after every day of work, do not leave a mess and are really careful about everything (which is really important esp to women).
