Gidon did a wonderful job and was great to deal with.  We were working on a time crunch, since we were trying to get all of the items on our list done the same week I contacted him.  He was extremely responsive and easily accommodated our accelerated timetable.  Even though a number of the things on the list took longer than anticipated, he did not charge us more than the estimate.  Overall, I thought the cost of the job was reasonable and the workmanship was very high quality.  I will definitely not hesitate to call him again in the future!

We were in the process of fixing our basement after it flooded. I called Gidon to give us an estimate on patching the drywall and other repairs in our basement and he was able to come by for an estimate in a timely manner. We ended up using the waterproofing company to fix most of the walls using waterproof materials, but there was still some work that needed to be done. I called Gidon to come by to give us another estimate on the remaining work. He started work on the basement about a week later. He came with one other person. They drywalled two small walls in the basement, painted the entire basement (other than the ceiling), and replaced one of the closet doors. We also asked him to repair our attic stairs (the cords broke). The job was supposed to take two days, but ended up taking one more day than initially expected, and Gidon ended up coming over in a snowstorm on the third day and stayed late to finish up. We really appreciated his dedication to getting it done! Overall they did a great job, and I found Gidon very responsive. I would definitely call them again.

They were extremely late. They were also terrible at communication. In fact, poor communication is the essence of this story:

 I spoke to them on the phone, and they continued to tell me of sooner times than they actually got to my house. By the time the vendor arrived I was very upset and tired. I actually though the man was from another company I had called for an estimate for other work.  The other vendors were late too! All the man had said was, "House Improvements". 

I did not want to complain about the time so I simply said my husband was going to do the work himself. The gentleman gave me quite a look but still said nothing more. As he turned to leave, without saying another word, I remembered the companies I called did general handy work and asked if he would look at a leak in the bathroom. It was a quick fix and this way he got the $50 for the house call and I got a minor problem fixed. 

It was not until the other company showed up- also late- that I realized the first person had been there to paint. Needless to say I just gave up. I really did do the painting myself and will remember to interrogate persons who don't proper introduce themselves. 

He is a diligent worker and an excellent craftsman. I would certainly hire him again. The work went very well. His work is beautiful.

The contractor came the same day we called, was on time and finished the work in approximately 1 1/2 hours. We are happy with the outcome and would use the provider again.

His work was exceptional and he completed the work in an efficient manner. He completed the work in the time that was promised. He works quickly, which minimizes the overall cost. We would highly recommend him.

He and his workers showed up several minutes early each day, and worked hard to complete the work ahead of schedule. When issues arose (a surprisingly large foundation from a previous wall, neighbors concerns, inspections), Gidon dealt with them in a prompt, professional way, and left everyone feeling happy. When the wall was complete, the remaining materials were discounted. Overall, the project was completed ahead of schedule and underbudget. Most importantly, the new wall looks great. It was a pleasure working with Gidon, and I recommend him to all of my friends and neighbors.
