Mike the owner originally told me $700 to abandon an inground 275 Gallon oil tank to DEC standards. The guys were nice. they did the job as promised. The only thing that was dissappointing is that they added a surprise fee of a $1 per gallon of removed liquid if the liquid to be removed was a mix of oil and water. They should have told me that when i got the estimate. They told me it was a mix and that there was 80 gallons removed. so that added $80 to the original estimate of $700.00. The only good thing about that is the lowest other estimate i received was 850.00 so this was still the best price. I was provided with a certificate of abandonment showing the company name, address and their License number with the state.
