Frank Tiano was on the list of contractors authorized by the water department to do this job. He was recommended by our next-door neighbor and others in Malden-on-Hudson. He came and took a thorough look at our house and got back to us with an estimate promptly. When I asked if I could have it in writing, he emailed a clear written estimate to me right away. We then got an estimate from another local company, and it was more than double Mr. Tiano's. Coordinating a date to do the work took a little effort, between snowstorms and our being out of town for a while. When we were back in our house, Mr. Tiano worked us into his schedule immediately. He was punctual, efficient, and did a great job. In general, he was really easy to communicate with, honest, personable, and smart. The whole experience was a pleasure.
