Very friendly on the phone when discussing opening an in-ground pool for my 87 year old father. When he and an employee arrived they did take off, fold, and put away the cover. They also came by within just a few days of calling and cleaned up debris around the pool, but did not shock the pool with the amount of chemicals needed to open a 20 x 40 pool. I was not able to be there but a friend was there. A small amount of algicide was put in and only 6 1lb packets of chlorine were used. (I put more than that in my 15' x 4' round above ground pool. This is much less than what he told me he would put in for a pool this size. I was told it would be loaded up with chlorine. I was disappointed with the amount of chemicals used compared to what a pool opening should use. 6 packets is not standard for a 20 x 40 8' deep end in ground pool.

I called Errol for help on a a major leak in my pool- we were losing 3-5 inches per day - Jesse Conklin of Conklin Pools,,who had been working on it since last year, just disappeared- and so in desperation I called Errol- His initial answer was he couldn't handle it- But he called me a few hours later and he realized how desperate I was and offered to come up and look- He has done several things to lower the extent of the leak - it now loses 1-2 inches per day- I am confident he will find the last leak and fill that-

Errol has been extremely helpful. I just closed on a home with my first pool. He is the 3rd "expert" that I have dealt with after the pool inspector and the former home owners pool guy, neither of which I would ever want to hire again. After seeing the reviews on HomeAdvisor for Pool Science I thought I would give Errol a shot. He called me back immediately and came to check out the pool the same day! 1 week into owning the home my pool pump broke and he was here the next morning to fix it on July 4th weekend. Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to recommend Pool Science.
