He is a really great guy. He did a really good job. He is responsive. Didn't have any problems.

From our experience, Christians inability to resolve a minor issue without animosity along with his subsequent lack of professionalism in customer service and communication are the primary reasons we would not recommend this contractor to anyone.

We really needed this experience with Christian to restore our faith in the industry. We had 5 excavators look at our property to resolve drainage issues that we were having. Two of them said they didn't feel comfortable doing the work without getting an engineer involved. The other three came, said it was no problem to do and they would be back to take measurements, and then never showed up again and would not return phone calls. Christian was the only excavator that followed through and really did his best to keep communication with us. We have had one of the wettest and rainiest seasons I can remember- and no flooding after his work was done. The job did take much longer than expected, but that was due to heavy rains that would make the ground unworkable. I don't think there was anything Christian could do about the delays. At one point we were getting concerned about the delays and were thinking of previous times that people in this industry had let us down. I voiced this to Christian and he assured me that "he has never failed someone". He then followed through with everything and really restored our sense of trust in this industry. We learned that there really are good people who are honest and capable through our experience with Christian. His advice on the cosmetic restoration of the property after the drainage work was done was also invaluable. He even took us to our local nursery to help us pick out plants and shrubs that would look good and made sense for the land, upkeep, and sunlight levels.

Total transformation of our backyard patio to a bluestone oasis. Everyone that sees it says it looks like it came out of a magazine. The attention to detail by Christian, Pete and Chris turned our tired backyard into a phenomenal entertaining space. So pleased!

Very professional. Christian provided a detailed estimate for a fairly complex demolition project in terms of the work to be done, the time-frame and the cost. The job entailed gutting a bathroom, a half bathroom and a 750+ square foot basement and removing two trees and pruning two others. He and a small crew of reliable workers completed the work, on time, in under a week. I would not hesitate to use him again and highly recommend him to others.

Christian is really great to work with. They did the work timely and when I asked to add additional services, there was no problem in adding on items. He replaced my pathway and put in pavers as well as cut down numerous trees (also helped me with a runaway snake in my house free of charge). His prices are very reasonable. I couldn't be there when he did the installation so I had to trust him. When I returned home to find all the work done exactly as asked I was really happy. I would highly recommend him.

Chris did everything I pointed out to him and it was completed when he said. They cleaned up great and the yard looks great.

We hired Catskills Landscaping to do a tough concrete demolition project. The job turned out to be more complicated than we expected, but Christian and his helpers handled it very effectively and got the job done! We were very pleased with the quality of the work, the attention to details, and the his competitive rate. His communication was excellent as well. All in all, a very satisfying experience and we would highly recommend him to others. I am now looking around the property for other things we could ask him to bid on.

Very professional and courteous company! I had 3 trees removed all that needed care not to damage our property or neighbors property. One of the trees was a large walnut tree that overhung my house and two neighbors garages. They were very cautious and protective of all. I was surprised I wasn't worried through the removal 10 minutes after the work began. I have a crazy schedule and they worked with me to schedule the job. Due to bad weather the job ended up taking two trips but they were in constant contact with me. After the job was complete both days other then the trees being gone you couldn't tell they had been there, the clean up was beautiful. I would highly recommend this company and I will be hiring them again for another project.

Wonderful conscientious service!

My car was stuck on an icy private road. After AAA and local municipal departments declined to help, Catskills Landscaping came out, threw some salt down and had me out within minutes.

this was a clean up project - removal of garden debris and non-garden debris. Then clearing property line,filling in trenches. I can be difficult to deal with and spring will tell. Mr. Hanson took my concerns seriously. I would hire him again.

Although this was his busiest season, he found a timely way to appraise my yard and let me know what the costs would be. He showed up on the day he promised and my yard looks great!
