VOGELS PAINTING

My wife and I bought a fixer upper in 2002. We hired Vogel's Painting to do the painting then and were so pleased with the quality of work and the integrity of the crew that when we hired them again. We got three other estimates from licensed, bonded contractors before we made a decision. John's estimate was not the lowest (it wasn't the highest either), but because of our favorable experience and previous relationship, we went with John. As expected, the work was meticulous. The doors look like glass and I am always getting compliments on the exterior. The crew was punctual, respectful, courteous and I never had to worry about damage to my property, spills, etc. If we still own this house, I will hire them again in another six years.

Excellent prep work - sanded all trim, wood and windows, repaired stucco, replaced damaged wood siding, primed all wood. Excellent paint job - very neatly done with 4 colors, 2 coats of paint. John and his workers were very meticulous, courteous and responsive. Spent lots of time with us picking out colors.

John Vogel obtained several color samples at my request and applied patches of them to the exterior of my house, so I could select the body and trim colors. The crew was very thorough and paid a lot of attention to detail. Termite damage to the trim boards was repaired with filler. A lot of time was spent on prep work. Wonderful people to work with and I have received many compliments on my house. Several of my neighbors have gotten estimates from him too. I intend to have him back to paint the interior of my house.
