Outstanding Plumbing Heating & Drain Cleaning

They left my pedestal sink chipped. When I mentioned it they were non-responsive. One faucet they put in but they could not do the drain. I would have been able to use the old drain had they not removed it from my home without my permission. Every pipe & pluming line they claimed needed to be replaced. I had no reason to believe they were problematic visually or performance wise but they convinced me, at the time, it was necessary. I think I was ripped off as other reviews have noted. I ended up with 1 faucet that was not secured properly & one faucet not usable. Do not use not even for free.

They told me he didn't show up cause they decided to go to a larger job over mine. They did offer a $25 discount if I rescheduled.

Outstanding plumbing was really just that - outstanding. They were extremely responsive and professional throughout the entire oil to gas conversion. They were accommodating to our busy schedules and were easy to reach even during off-hours of the day.

The service that they provide is not on done right... it's done right the first time.   Such a rarity these does from service companies.  The technician was onetime, and showed up neat, clean and was polite.   He used shoe "booty" covers to make sure he didn't get my floors dirty each and every time he entered my home,  as there was a lot of slush on the ground from the snow.
The job was done quickly and again, done right.  The bathroom was left as clean if not cleaner then when he arrived.   
I would have Outstanding Plumbing and Heating back to work in my home in the future if needed and I highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work done.

I called in an emergency situation and the sent me a great technician. He worked quickly and was able REPAIR my furnace IN CONTRAST to the first company that I called who's tech told me I had to replace the entire furnace for almost $5,000.

Soon after Edgar of Outstanding Heating and Pumbing got to work, he explained everything he was discovering with our system and what he would do to correct the problems -- and there were several. The oil burner itself was in dire need of cleaning. He explained how it looked like it hadn't been done in a long time. He not only corrected the problem with the circulator, which he determined wasn't working right because there was so much air in the system it couldn't pressurize properly, but he showed us how a leaking valve needed to be replaced, and the chimney needed to be cleaned out as well. He did that, and we were shocked at how much soot had accumulated in the elbow. He opened up the gun and found that the previous repairman had put in the wrong size nozzle, which had cost us money because it was allowing more oil into the system than necessary. Edgar also opened up the case and gave the unit a thorough vacuuming, and flushed the pipes. In addition, he replaced old identifying tags on the pipes, moving them higher so we could read them. It all cost approx. $586.00 for 3 hours work (only exceeding the estimate by the price of the replacement valve), minus $35 from a coupon we'd received from a previous Outstanding visit (for plumbing.) Edgar was a consummate professional, from tarp and booties to work estimate and clean-up, not to mention the 3 hours of hard work itself. Every step of the way, he stopped to explain, courteously and patiently, what was going on, what needed to be done and why, showing us parts on the unit, answering questions straightforwardly -- no BS -- and explaining quickly and concisely how things worked. The price was well worth having not only heat and a quietly running oil burner, but peace of mind, a pleasant experience, and a company we can trust. We were exceedingly pleased with Edgar's professional manner, having dealt with service people who couldn't be bothered to talk to us, or would talk down to us, or try to mislead us. All in all, it was a great experience, and we'd have Edgar of Outstanding Heating and Plumbing do our annual service from now on. BTW, everything works great! Outstanding truly is...outstanding!

Quick to come quick to fix on the spot once all was explained, no hassles no sales pitch etc. just quality for the job I wanted.  Getting estimate for whole house generator, knew the laws, placement problem and even satisfied my wife's need to hide the system.

I found them through my work.  I don’t know what their charges are because I was away yesterday and so they will be sending me a bill.  So I’m not sure about that.  They came and did the work and I had friends here.  So I’m going to have to wait until I get all the information back from them.  Overall my experience with them was great.  They got everything fixed and it was done quickly.  They were on time and so I’m very happy.  They do what they say they’re going to and they’re reliable.  The plumbers or the technicians are extremely knowledgeable.  They’re very helpful and very responsive.  I talked to them over the phone about the price.

From the initial estimate to the final service call to complete the job, these guys were fantastic! The job entailed the removal of a 60 year old oil burner, installation of a gas burner, replacement of a hot water tank and removal of the oil tank. They were professional, competent and left the house clean. No oil spillage and no oil smell. Would highly recommend.
