I was given a price of $1,100 last Fall for the work, but decided to hold off on doing it until this Summer.  Ira, the owner, arrived two weeks before we ended up scheduling and provided an estimate and determine a fair price.  After going over the work required, which included the addition of some pruning and removal of another small tree, he quoted me $1,500.  I was fine with that, we shook hands and he told me he would call me on Monday, June 29 to set up the service date - no call.  I gave it the week since it was just before 4th of July, but I never heard anything.  I had to leave town on business the following week, but called while away, July 6 to be exact, and he told me he would be by on Friday the 10th to do the job; I said great and told Ira that if it would be an issue I would let him know the next day but to schedule it in and I would look forward to seeing them.  I scheduled my Friday around that and called to confirm the day before (Thursday the 9th), but only got his voicemail, so I left one...no call back.  The next morning I called again but it was the same thing, no answer.  I called a few more times, left a message, but unfortunately could not get a hold of Ira.  Being that it was rather clear to me he was not answering my number, my wife called from her office and voila...Ira answered.  He told her that the price quoted was too cheap and they decided not to do the work, but he was going to take a ride over and let me know in person - bear in mind this is now noon the day of the appointment...ummmmmm, what???  Moreover, it's not like anyone asked him to honor the price from a 9 months earlier, I asked him to come back and give me a price for the work required now; he freely told me the $1,100 price was too cheap and I said fine - just give me a price.  After Ira came to my house, surveyed the work required and gave me a price that was better than a third higher I still happily hired him because I thought it was fair and I was more than willing to pay in cash.  In truth, if he gave me a slightly higher price I still would have hired him.  My issue is the utter lack of consideration for a customers time and lack of professionalism as he couldn't even be bothered to tell me he either A) needed to charge even more than I was quoted a week earlier when he actually SAW the work required in person, or B)  they were bypassing the job entirely.  A simple phone call ahead of time would have been well received and would have meant that I would have understood the position and worked with him on price.  I never negotiated, I only asked for a price.  I was given one by the owner that he decided he didn't want to do the work for, but didn't have the decency to inform me ahead of time. 
I've never quite encountered a lack of professionalism to this level before.  Needless to say, I will not use them, recommend them, or tell anyone I know to consider using them.
I've since hired another tree company who quoted me the same price as is rated a good deal higher here on Angies List.  I will let you know how that works!

The day we had the tree work done they were very late. They said by 12:00 and showed up at almost 4:00. I did not think they were coming. Maybe just delayed. They started the work before I came back from the bus stop. I would of thought that they would of waited for the homeowner to double check on the job. The tree was a big one close to the house. The guys miss judged the size and grazed my neighbors house and bent my gutter. From that point on I was a nervous wreck. My neighbor came out and she from that point on did not leave her window. I just thought that they were going to rope the logs off rather then throwing them from the top. I felt like Godzilla was in the backyard. We had a company for years doing work. They just retired so I was used to a neater and worry free job. I had to cancel my evening because they came late. They were suppose to take the wood and had to leave it for someone to pick up later in the night or first thing in the morning. They said they had no room on the truck. That was totally fine. They made good on that. We really appreciated it. Some people came in the morning and then they came for the rest. They did not finish the job and they wanted to get paid. I explained that they were not finished and they fine with that. The Forman left earlier and we never saw Ira. I had to tell the guys to fix the gutter. They came the next day to finish up and cut another large tree and we did not let them do it. No Forman or Ira and we were nervous. We did not want them to drop the tree. We went with them because they had a bucket truck and we did not want the logs dropped for this tree. It would have need a mess. I did like the owner. But there needs to be someone on the job you can talk to. I believe they said the Forman was sick. Which was fine. I could of rescheduled.

from estimate to completion all went on schedule, no delays, returned calls, courteous, professional, neat.

The work was done better than expected, price was excellent for the amount of work. many companies would have charged this amount just for the two trees. five guys working on the job. I have used four or five times over 12 years. I always call him first and last

They never did the job. This was likely the result of miscommunication or misunderstanding on both sides from our first meeting in the fall of 2013. In the spring of 2014 we met to review the site and scope of job, he was honest with me that scope of the job was larger then he thought and we did not move forward.

The owner is a nice guy who arrived to my home, and gave me a fair estimate. I told him I would call him when I was ready. He didn't call to harass me in the interim and I did call the following week when I was ready. He came to my house and did a great job. No mess, no hassle .

Starting on June 24, when I talked to them, I explained the type of work needing done. He said they could get to it in a couple days. That was when the heat wave started, sop he called and said his guys were beat and asked for a few more days. I didn't expect anyone to get up there in that heat, so it was totally understandable. I called them a week later, expecting to have already heard from them, and he said they didn't have any trucks in the area so they haven't been able to come out yet. I kind of let that slide; they may be busy. But, I figure if they canceled with me, I should have been priority. Today, I called him again. I asked if he still wanted to do the work, he said he did and would get to it. I said, "We will see what happens by the end of the day." He said, "Well, if you're only giving me till today, then forget about it" and hung up on me. At no time was I abusive to this guy. I treated him very friendly and professionally this entire time. I may have sounded a bit skepitcal today, but I believe I had a right to be.

Ira and his crew arrived on time.  They cut down the twin trunk of a very large tulip tree and extensively pruned two large dogwood trees.  Then they carefully dug around two flowering trees and moved them, preserving as much of the root system as possible. Joe, the foreman, and the workers were  courteous, efficient  and conscientious and were very accommodating with any questions or concerns that I had.  Everything was cleaned up completely when they were finished.  Ira was professional, attentive and easy to work with.  He gave me a very good price and allowed me to pay in two installments, which made it possible for me to have the work done right at the beginning of the season.

they said they would be here at 8 am and were setting up at 7:30.  they estimated the job would be done by 2:30 in the afternoon and it was completed around 2 pm.  they were efficient and knew what they were doing.  ira gave me the detailed estimate and joe was the foreman on the job.

Work on the first property was performed while I was at work and was generally OK except that one tree in prominent view with dead branches was not done and firewood suitable wood was not left on the property as was agreed. I received a call that they would come on Saturday afternoon right after lunch to do the second property. When they did not show up by 2:30 I called them and was told they would be there shortly. They finally showed up at 3:00 p.m. Immediately after work started the boss left leaving his foreman in charge - not unusual for this business. However, about a half hour later I saw the boss's car pull up in front of the property and then leave again. A few minutes later I noticed the foreman was gone. Within 15 minutes or so the crew had finished what they were most immediately working on and all work stopped. With no one in charge, no direction and certainly no initiative, the crew just sat around sharpening their chainsaw blades with tree branches piled up all over the place. I waited about a half hour and left in disgust. I called, got voicemail, and left a message for the boss that he could pick up his money under my front doormat, that I was unhappy with the the fact the crew had been left unsupervised and that we would not be doing business again.  I received a voicemail a few days later thanking me for leaving the money under the circumstances and saying he would take care of the missed tree on the first property. Needless to say at this point, he did not keep his word.

Owner came immediately to scope the work and provide an estimate but after several calls to try to schedule the work we had to call someone else who came as promised and did a god job

Both trees were cut up, rooots ground and areas were left raked and perfectly ready for seed.  The came to give us an estimate very quickly, in spite of the fact that tree companies were very much in demand due to the hurricane, and subsequent extensive damage.  Other companies never even bothered to return my calls, but Immaculate came after one phone call, gave us a very fair and reasonable estimate, when others were giving us inflated estimates taking advantage of a bad situation.  They came almost immediately to cut up the trees and take them away, and had to wait for the weather to permit to come back, grind the stumps and roots, and finish the job.  But the came as soon as possible, did a thorough job, and stuck to their estimate.

They were wonderful, Ira is fantastic, and I will be using them again for more tree work.  I completely recommend them, and know you won't be disappointed.

We did not hear anything back from them until about a week and half later.

They responded quickly to my telephone call.  They were able to get here within a week.  They were prompt.  They did a good job.  The workers were fine.  I was very pleased with them.  I would use their service in the future too.

They showed up when they said they would and did a fantastic job from start to finish. The foreman spoke English which is a plus in my book. You really need good communication with this type of work, I was very happy.
