Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel, Cabinet Making
Bayview was given a sizable check on March 20, 2013 as a 50% deposit on these cabinets. As of the current date 10/18/2013 they have failed to deliver any cabinets and have refused to return our deposit. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Department of Consumer Affairs. The owner of the business is avoiding our communications.

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
My wife and I left a downpayment with Bayview Kitchen and bath 10/28/2011 when they were located on RT 347, near Stony Brook.
Walter has since moved the office to ST. James.
We were given a construction timeframe of late January early February.
We were told there was a delay until February 20th but that was a solid date so we demolished our old kitchen.
The date slipped to March 2 and when this arrived Walter informed us that he in fact had not put our deposit down on our cabinets.
We were shocked and without a kitchen.
We went back and forth and ended up having to pay the remainder of the bill on the cabinets directly to Wood Mode before they would begin building our cabinets. Then we waited 8 weeks for the cabinets to be built and they were eventually installed in late June, we were without a kitchen four approximately four months.
Walter did not carefully incorporate the measurements for our new refrigerator in the design even though I sent them to him at prior to his design. The cabinet over the fridge had to be cut down and new doors ordered.
The new cabinet doors arrived weeks later and were still too large!
Technically, Bayview never finished the job and I ended up ordering the correct size doors and remaining light rail and doing it myself.
Walter B. communication to us was almost non-existant. I had to track him down to get an update and there was a great deal of confusion regarding our order when we spoke to anyone else in the office. Our lawyer eventually went to visit Bayview and was probably the only reason we were able to work through the deal at all.

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
THESE GUYS WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. IF YOU WERE NOT HAPPY WITH ANYTHING, THEY CHANGED IT. THEY WERE EXCELLENT TO DEAL WITH. THE INSTALLER WAS A MASTER CRAFTSMAN.
