Overall very well.  Mr. Goburn came at an agreed time to measure and estimate the cost of repairing the damage.  He provided a detailed estimate which was accepted in full by my insurance company.  The repairs were stared and completed satisfactorily within the contracted time.

After multiple failed attempts by two other providers and unbearable length of time with water coming through the ceiling, Norman was able to locate the source of my leaky roof.  Norman was patient and provided clear and consistent information regarding what would be necessary for the repair.  His staff did a fantastic job in stopping the leak.  I was well pleased with the job. Subsequently, he did a number of other jobs for me.  He repaired a pipe leak in the basement which required pipe work in upstairs two bathrooms.  His staff did a fine job and were very neat with cleanup.  The prices were reasonable, completion timeframe was quick  and Norman inspected the work with enough consistency to ensure appropriate care was provided for the task.  I consider the work for these 2 jobs to be excellent.
I was less satisfied with the quality of a bedroom paint job that I had done later; wall prep in the window area was not well done, the old cracked plaster/paint around the window area were not removed nor properly sanded to give a polished finish.  
Unfortunately, Norman's most recent customer service also proved to be unsatisfactory.  I contacted Norman in late 2013 regarding a basement re-modeling job and he made several commitments to follow up with me and did not do so.  This was surprising since I had referred him to a friend for two rather large jobs for which he expressed appreciation and a commitment to provide a discount to me for future work.
Overall, the work I had completed was good despite the latest less-than-optimal experience.

Overall the experience was very good. Mr. Goburn himself was quite professional and responded to us in a timely manner. Although some of his employees were not so professional in terms of foul language and asking to use our bathroom. This was about a year and a half ago so perhaps some of the bad seeds have dropped off. Through all of this we would still use NW Goburn services again.

I had an old antenna on my chimney which I needed to have removed.  It was a very simple job.  Goburn made it very convenient for me.  I gave him the address, stopped by (when I wasn't home), called me with a price for removal and removed the antenna and discarded it, as well.  We made arrangements for payment.  Everything went smoothly!

There are too many contractors out there for me to ever hire this man again. He may have some redeeming qualities, but not when it comes to working on someone's home. He did however deduct $450 from the fee he quoted. Do your research, negotiate everything before anyone touches anything, and question how the job is going to be done.

All went well. Brackets & wall is excellent.

THE COMPANY OWNER AND 2 WORKERS SHOWED UP ON TIME. ONE WORKER REMOVED THE SHINGLES IN THE AREA WHERE THE LEAK WAS EVIDENT. THE OTHER WORKER OPENED THE CEILING INSIDE BUT WAS UNABLE TO PINPOINT EXACTLY WHERE THE LEAK WAS COMING IN, BECAUSE OF A JOIST IN THE WAY, AND THE PRESENCE OF INSULATION. THE WOOD UNDER THE SHINGLES WAS ALSO REMOVED, SHOWING THAT THE PREVIOUS ROOFING JOB WAS DONE POORLY BECAUSE OF OPEN LARGE SPACES BETWEEN THE PIECES OF WOOD (A PLYWOOD SHEET WAS NOT USED). MR. GOBURN, THE ROOFING COMPANY OWNER, NEEDED TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES AND DID THIS QUICKLY. THE ENTIRE JOB WAS DONE IN ADEQUATE TIME, INCLUDING REPLACING THE INNER CEILING, SPACKLING AND SMOOTHING. WE HAVE HAD SEVERAL HEAVY RAINS SINCE THEN, AND ALL SEEMS WELL. I AM CONFIDENT THAT N. W. GOBURN FOUND THE SOURCE OF THE LEAK, BUT ALSO CONFIDENT THAT IF NEEDED HE WOULD RETURN TO ADDRESS ANY CONCERNS THAT I MIGHT HAVE. THE WORKERS DID A PROFESSIONAL CLEANUP.

Norman and his staff were unbelievable. Finally, I found an honest, respectful, talented group of people to  access and handle anything you throw at them. In the future, they will be doing "all" my work from now on!I live out of state, and they have helped me far beyond my expectations, with a difficult tenant.

They were always on top of things.  They were punctual and very available.  They cleaned up after themselves.

Norman was knowledgeable in all the matters we discussed and appears to have expertise in various types of work, as listed in his company description. I initially contacted him as a roofer, but it's nice to have someone you can call on for a variety of jobs. He is always responsive to phone calls and is very easy to deal with. Once we agreed on the approach and the price, Norman promptly came to do the work and completed it efficiently and well. His pricing was very competitive. I hope to use his services for additional jobs in the future, and in fact I'm awaiting an estimate to replace the roof on the garage.

I called Mr. Goburn not knowing what to expect. He was very curtious on the phone and offered to meet to look at the job right away (20 mins after call). It was a small area in the back of a rental home,I needed some siding and insulation for exposed areas around door and window. After a survey of the area,I was quoted a price of $600.00 which included everything! He asked for $200.00 which I gave to him in cash and was given a receipt. Next day Mr Goburn arrived at the agreed upon time and completed all work even cleaned up nicely! This was a job I needed done for a while, I'm so glad I waited to have it done right. Thanks Angie's List! never would have found him on my own.

when i called NW he came at the time we set up and knew what he was talking about when he came for est. we set price and he came next day while i was at work.when i got home the job was done and done well Mr. Goburn came by in afternoon alittle after i got home to explain job and pick up his well earned pay... good guy came fast and got it done..
