For 24 years, I went to Henry Persan and Son's before any other hardware store Today, I did this as well and spent 30 minutes searching unsuccessfully for a plumbing fitting after which I asked for assistance. The person I asked said that if I hadn't found it, they probably didn't have it. OK. Not the first time. I walked over to the other hw store in town and found the part I needed. Still OK. When I returned to Henry Persan and Sons, they had booted my truck and demanded $300 to release it.
