"Hired KO in May 2024, started work in September 2024 - by April 2025 work still not completed...Terminated KO in April 2025 KO wanted more money to fix his errors (epoxy everywhere...grimy prints into epoxy everywhere) Have hired new contractors to redo all of KO's work; each has commented his work was below amateur - brought his politics into the workplace, too Made old woman cry - who just wanted the work completed after many extensions and didn't understand why she had to pay more money for his poor work; dismissed old woman's concerns - even stated "old women love me" - Has KO duped others? Again, newly hired contractors examined his work and scoffed. Do Not hire KO - not reliable, poor attitude...and you'll just have to get the work redone - not accredited with the BBB and only other reviews (prior to this) are from the same month/year and in same style. Took $16,000 in 5/24, started 9/24, not done by 4/25 + wanted $9,500 more nearly irredeemably bad work The Brown Family"

"I highly recommend them. Not only is the fence beautiful, now one year later, but I was impressed with the team’s professionalism, hard work, staying on my job until completion. Important as well was the respect, integrity and good humor they exhibited, both working together and interfacing with me and my neighbors. I highly recommend them!"

Rototilling questions, answered by experts

Yes, rototilling has many benefits. Rototilling is a great way to aerate the soil in your garden, introduce fertilizer, and remove weeds from your soil to prep it for planting, so it is very often a worthwhile expense. You can get by without rototilling if you’re willing to use manual tools, but the work will take much longer and is very labor-intensive. If you’re looking to prepare your garden for planting or your soil for new grass growth, rototilling is relatively inexpensive and almost always worth the money.

You should exercise care when deciding how to landscape over a leach field for your septic system. You typically want lightweight materials that won’t damage the drain field’s perforated pipes. When adding plants to the area, select plants with shallow roots, such as grass or flower gardens. Trees with deep roots could damage the pipes in the field.

It depends on the model of your pool. You’ll always have to level the topsoil, but most vinyl-lined pools require an additional 1- to 2-inch layer of sand to protect the liner. This way, when a foot kicks down to the bottom of your pool, it’s not scraping the liner against the hard ground. If your pool isn’t vinyl-lined, you can skip this step or add a layer of another base material, like decomposed granite. Always check your manufacturer’s instructions before you begin.

Hardscaping often requires preparation of the ground in the area where the feature is being installed. This can include digging, compacting, and leveling the soil, ensuring adequate drainage, and removing any existing plants. The extent of preparation needed will depend on the type and size of the hardscaping feature being installed.

Yes, such as sod installation and erosion control for comprehensive site improvement.
