"This is a couple admitted that they sued other designers before & seems to enjoy suing and filing complaints about anyone they can, Latest victim was their painter. These clients changed their mind about taking and paying the balance of their custom kitchen from Italy after it arrived at our warehouse. In efforts to get back their non refundable deposit as per signed contract, they decided to sue us & slender our untarnished name. We have NEVER had a claim against us & will shortly post many old client testimonials. First false statement from the member is about my credentials, in fact I did graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture from City College School of Architecture in June 1976. Second, cabinet estimate has to do with the layout of the kitchen. When clients add cabinets & accessories, the price changes. They wanted all the changes or they wouldn’t have paid. Third, we do not directly install or give installation prices, we suggest a list of contractors. Clients are encouraged to make their own decision on which contractor to use. Fourth, absolutely no errors were made in this kitchen. Upon emptying the top part of a tall oven cabinet, they remembered from doing their fairly new kitchen a few years before that in the ceiling was a very small part of the above stair and therefore we would have had to have a small soffit in the back of the cabinet that absolutely would not change the layout of the cabinets. We were glad to design free of charge 6 different options of how to deal with that situation, All actually would have enhanced the design. They refused all our attempts at solving this minor issue including moving the stair a few inches to avoid it completely. The clients never agreed to delivery of the cabinets or appliances. The kitchen absolutely could have been installed. I never, ever yelled at any client. This is simply a malicious way to slander us to try to hurt our business. Even the fact that their lawyer did not get a response from our lawyer is a proven lie. They have been in touch continuously and a judgment was given by a judge against the the member’s continuing to spread slanderous remarks against us. They sent hundreds of letters all over our neighborhood to try to kill our reputation. Luckily we do have a loyal following who will vouch for us any time. Thank you for reading our response.
