We offer all phases of home improvements including: painting, carpentry, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, roofing, siding, decks and full additions just to name a few. We listen to the needs of each individual client and our goal is to make sure we deliver. We treat your home as if it were our own. We make an extra effort to cover any belongings and keep dust to a minimum. We shop vac each job after completion and make sure the client is happy with the end product. We also offer handyman services . No job to big or to small. We do it all. Many satisfied repeat clients. Super service award winner 2016, 2017,2019,2020,2021 and 2022.

I am extremely happy with the way the deck looks now. Not only was the work completed in a timely manner, but the quality of the workmanship and the attention to detail was amazing. Also, the care taken to remove the pieces of the old deck were really appreciated. In addition, it was a pleasure to work with Chuck from Talex.

Chuck was the ideal contractor. He was meticulous, an amazing communicator (and listener), and very nice. We couldn't have asked for more in a contractor. We love the way our space turned out and our family is really enjoying it. After a terrible experience with a previous contractor on another renovation, we were afraid to trust another contractor but so glad we hired Chuck. Hard to find contractors like him nowadays. True gem!

Exceptionally well. Chuck is a fantastic contractor. His work is outstanding. He’s honest, on time, accessible, and his work was on budget. The bathrooms are beautiful. I’d highly highly recommend and would hire him again in an instant. Truly the best.

Chuck of Talex has been our contractor for 8 years and has handled every single job (minor to major) in our home. Our recent masterbath renovation was a huge undertaking. Over 900 sq ft, demo, plumb, elect, framing, stonework was either done by Chuck or subbed by Chuck. There is not a detail he will overlook. Chuck does not take shortcuts and never compromises perfection. He won't accept any less from the workers he hires/subs. There is no one who will give you this quality of work along with peace of mind and confidence for your home project. Another bonus.. he's the neatest guy I've ever seen (so much respect for your home). My bathroom is a showpiece and that we enjoy everyday/night. I'm waiting for spring to embark on my next project with Chuck/Talex (home exterior). Can't wait!

Chuck did a great job in my hardwood floors. They've been buckling for a while and needed to be ripped up from a glue down. Got some new engineered floors. He was very detailed, including taking off necessary molding caulking, filling in gaps in wall and making it look great. He was on time and finished within three days. Wife loves the floors. Would definitely use again!

It was a great experience from start to finish. From the first phone call through the end of the job, the owner was in constant contact with me and was hands on throughout the job. They were reliable and very respectful of my property. They did a beautiful painting job and were neat to a fault. I highly recommend this company.

Chuck and the rest of his crew at Talex are the most talented, profession and reasonable construction company I ever worked with over my 25 years of homeownership. It's unfortunate that I only met him 4 years ago or he would have saved me a lot of heartache with a lot of over promising and under delivering by his competitors. Talex.... write it down..... CALL them!!

Chuck was very easy to work with and trustworthy. I left him a set of keys so he could come and go. He came when he said he would, he finished the work when he said he would, and he kept me up to date on his progress. He was meticulous, his work was neat and the end result was very nice. I would definitely hire him again.

Talex Home Improvement did a fantastic job remodeling my apartment! They kept me in the loop for any unforeseen issues and provided me with all possible options for me to make the best decision I could. The contractor, Chuck, always listened to any of my concerns and took them into consideration during the job. He completed the tasks in a timely manner, even during COVID, and was very helpful with all of my questions (I tend to have plenty and he was very patient!). Will definitely be calling Talex again for any future work that I need done!

I would definitely hire him again. Chuck was responsive and reliable. He did a lot of the work himself and when he wasn't doing the work he was there to set up his workers and instruct them on what to do. He's trustworthy. He's a pretty small operation so I don't think he's the guy to build you a brand new house 8000 sf house but an extension, a kitchen or bathroom remodel or handyman services he can do.

Chuck's work is top quality with very fair prices; we enthusiastically and highly recommend Talex. Chuck was our GC and provided finish carpentry for a major renovation project that started in the latter half of 2019 through early 2020. The work included gutting the entire 2nd floor, a new roof line with gables, updated entrance, windows, siding, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Chuck is extremely professional, reliable, and treated our house like he was working on his own home. The subs were excellent, he ensured that all work met his high standards, and he consistently kept the site clean. His finish work is impeccable, which ensured that walls, doors, and moldings in our older home were straight and seamless. I could provide pages of detail, but to keep it brief, our house was in rough shape and Chuck was there every step of the way. He guided us, helped make the best possible decisions, provided the best work, and brought our house back to a way better state than it has ever been. Needless to say, we're extremely happy with the results.

We were lucky enough to have Chuck as our contractor. We had a few hiccups with the water company and the plumber with scheduling. Chuck oversaw them to make sure the job was done correctly. With the COVID pandemic, he adheard to all the guidelines to protect us. He is very trustworthy and helpful with suggestions and very neat! He knows his business. He is always on time at 8am ( I’m sorry to say! We like to sleep in ?and wanted it to be 11 am ?) I just LOVE my new Bathroom floor and ceiling! We will have Chuck on speed dial for another job.?? Thanks Chuck for a Great Job!

Getting work done on a house during a pandemic and in a time crunch is stressful, but Chuck helped to make it as smooth as possible. Chuck is knowledgeable, responsible, and respectful. He was always punctual and kept things orderly, as were the other workers he brought in. He had good suggestions and recommendations, and coordinated with the other tradespeople who worked on the house. We are happy with his work, and would definitely use him for future projects.

From start to finish, Chuck was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, gave excellent suggestions, worked meticulously and was very easy to work with. The electrician he brought in to redo some of the plugs and rehiring was excellent as well, as was his assistant, Victor. Our basement looks great!

Excellent ..... chuck and Victor updated two bedrooms in our home. They removed all the carpeting from each room and the old moldings, in preparation of painting the rooms and installing pre-finished oak flooring and new moldings in each room. They spackled and sanded the walls and ceilings and primed each room prior to painting. The walls and ceilings looked fantastic after they finished painting. They then installed the oak flooring and moldings and door and closet trims. To say the rooms when completed were fantastic is an understatement. Chuck and Victor are genuine craftsman and their attention to detail and end results provides their customers with quality workmanship. We are happy to have found Chuck and will only be using his services on other renovations to our home with a relaxed confidence that the job will be done correctly.
