soon after moving in, and continuing to today (9 years since we moved in) we have experienced problems with the construction performed by this contractor, resulting in thousands of dollars in water damage, two claims to the homeowners insurance company, plus approximately 4 additional instances when we paid for repairs without submitting claims. In all the places where the original house meets the "new" renovations we have experienced leaks and uncovered shoddy construction. A google search revealed that this contractor was arrested in relation to a bribery scandal with the Town of North Hempstead - failure to conduct proper inspections of construction.
