Description of Work: Fixed several items in an older Electrolux Vacuum Cleaner. Was professional, explained everything he was going to do/did, and charged me a fair price. Old style service all around - not many places like this in existence any more.

Description of Work: Brought my Electrolux Regency Vacuum for servicing - explained the "sucking" power of the unit had deteriorated over time. Owner advised he'd be happy to look at it, and would call me the next day with his findings. When he called the next morning, he indicated that he had the machine apart and determined that the motor was in dire need of replacement, the reason for the poor performance. He gave me 3 choices - do nothing and pick up the unit (no charge), replace the motor with a new one from Electrolux ($325), or install another motor that he overhauled and gurantees for 2 years for $150. Easy choice - overhauled motor it was. He told me the job would be finished by the next morning, to come and pick it up then. Upon picking up the motor the next day, he advised he had also replaced a belt in the power broom and that the wooden brush roller was somewhat warped, so he replaced that as well. There was NO CHARGE for either of these additional services! This place is the way things used to be when you got something repaired - a logical charge, no ripoffs and service with a smile. I HIGHLY recommend this shop for any work you need to do with vacuum cleaners.
