Rob was extremely nice and personable from the start. He felt bad for us and took it personally to fix our mistakes. Rob and Daniel were prompt and professional. They were definitely the floor experts we were looking for. They cleaned up very nicely after each day and even stayed late one day to ensure they finished the job as scheduled. The floors turned out beautifully and exactly how we wanted. I'm so glad we found these two.

Rob and his team were on time and very neat! I have heard horror stories that after getting floors refinished there will be dust for weeks after. Rob setup fans to blow the dust outside and it worked well. We had no problems with dust and the floors came out beautiful.

Great. Rob and Daniel came in, sanded the floors and vacuumed/wiped everything. Put down different stain samples and we chose the best one. Stained the floors by hand (we have seen floors where the worker used a mop for the stain and sometimes they are uneven.) Allowed to dry, came back, buffed the floors and then vacuumed the floors AND THE SURROUNDING FLOORS outside the area. Put down first coat of polyurethane. Came back for third day and put down a second coat of polyurethane and the floors look great!! They were very careful and clearly knew that in my house, oil-based would look much better than water-based coatings. And they do!! Highly recommended. p.s. After they were done, at Rob's suggestion, they picked up one of my large chairs that I needed moved to the basement, and moved it downstairs. Not part of the job in any way, but really nice thing to do.

Rob did a fantastic job staining our new basement hardwood stairs and railing. He was a magician in matching the floor color to the existing wood floor in the kitchen. Very clean and professional. Thanks for the great job Rob. 

Very professional, Denise was great during the booking process. Rob helped my wife and I pick out a great stain for our home. Our floors look amazing. They were very clean (no dust/residue left behind from the sanding) Highly recommend.

As I said, everything went really well. The 3 floors look beautiful and look like new!! Robert came each day on time and cleaned up so that we did not have to do any cleaning. Again, he used window fans to blow the dust out of the house which was wonderful. We highly recommend Robert and would use him again!!! Also, none of the moldings on the floor were touched so no painting was needed afterword!! Thanks again Robert!!

I obtained estimates from several of Angie's List contacts and was most impressed with Rob.  He was immediately responsive to my inquiry and quick to set up an appointment to look at the job.  He was polite and very knowledgeable and I particularly liked his attention to detail.  We booked the job several weeks in advance and Rob and his partner Daniel showed up on time from the moment the job started to its finish. Every phase of the job went as promised.  The attention he paid to protecting my home and being mindful of containing the "mess" was much appreciated.  The floors look better than I had imagined.  I am very pleased with the work Rob and Daniel did and would highly recommend them to anyone and plan to use them again for some additional work in the near future.

Very good service.  They were flexible with our schedule and prompt and courteous in all their communications with us.  We only needed one bedroom and small hallway re-finished and some companies turned up their noses at such a small job, but not R&D.  We were very happy with the finished job and also just as happy with dealing with such nice people.  We wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Rob did an amazing job.  My husband and I just purchased a new home and really wanted the floors refinished before moving all of the furniture in.  Rob accommodated our tight timeline by starting the work on a Sunday and working nights.  He paid close attention to detail, took his time and did the job right.  We could not be happier with the outcome.  The floors look brand new!  In addition to his top quality work, Rob was professional and courteous to work with.

Very responsive to my initial call.  Made a visit for pricing the job and started and finished the job very quickly.  Extremely neat and very professional.  Gave me numerous progress reports as the job progressed. The completed job greatly exceeded my expectations as the floors have not been refinished in over 20 years.  The rooms look beautiful!

The whole project went very smoothly. Denise organized the schedule and handled the office details with courtesy and precision. Rob and his assistant were in and out of the house in four days and did a beautiful job.
Due to the small size of their operation they are unable to move furniture so we had to do that separately and ourselves - it took a day both coming and going.
Rob's work left behind surprisingly little dust and no mess whatsoever. I'll definitely reach out to him again with my next project, the upstairs!

He did an amazing job, was on time, didn't charge me for the bullnose edge, was very professional, courteous and I would highly recommend him. I will definitely have him come back to sand the rest of my house.

Robert is the owner and also the one who gave me the estimate and then did the actual work. Denise runs the office and either answers your call immediately or gets back to you promptly. The communication in regards to the whole project was excellent. Robert and his trusted helper Daniel worked on the floors for 3 1/2 days and we couldn't be happier with the results. The first day consisted of sanding all the areas and then leaving the 3 requested sample stains on small areas on the actual floor so that we were able to pick the one we liked the best. The second day the stain was applied to all areas. The third and next half day were spent applying the polyurethane. Fans and plastic over door openings were used to minimize the dust from sanding, and I was very pleased with the results. I have another area of hardwood floors that I will be refinishing in the future... and Rand D will be getting that job as well. The whole experience with Rand D was a pleasure... and I highly recommend them.
