The actual worker was fine. Company over promises and over charges They were coming Friday am early showed up. 4pm Monday Charge you for the gas to come to do the job Not a good experience very expensive to replace a plunger they do not deduct the service call from the price

They were prompt and efficient. The tech explained that replacing the valve was extra $$ (which I knew had to be replaced).

Awful. All I wanted is to have my drain cleared so I could take a shower. Mangano required credit card authorization in advance. Plumber arrived, asked to see exposed plumbing in the basement BEFORE he snaked the drain.. He said I could take a shower in less than an hour. He ran the water and proceeded to snake the drain. He blew a hole in a pipe and water flooded my basement and seeped under the walls into the finished side soaking my carpet. He said they are not responsible for sub standard plumbing which he inspected just minutes BEFORE he snaked the drain. Why the **** did he proceed? Now I have a broken pipe that needs to be replaced, they said the trap needed to be replaced and the pipe leading to the stack should be replaced to "bring everything up to code". After that was done, guess what, another leak that had to be addressed. From a simple snaking to a $1,300 bill is absurd. Not including the water in my basement. I admit I am a real sap for letting it get so far. I should have read the many bad reviews on google. They also have an F on the better business bureau. Please check this guy out before you do business with him. RESPONSE TO COMPANY: OK. So lets get this straight. You insist on a credit card authorization before you even come to the house. Get a signed authorization before you start work, (something I will never do again by the way, trust is a 2 way street and you know where I live.) Then you INSPECT THE PLUMBING BEFORE YOU START THE JOB, and proceed to snake the pipe anyway. You break the pipe, flood the basement, and soak my carpet. Who is the pro here? Why did you proceed? After the damage was done, you had the opportunity to do the right thing but instead chose to cite substandard plumbing which you had JUST INSPECTED, and hide behind a contract on a clipboard with a disclaimer on the front that an eagle wearing glasses could’t read. The actual contract is on the back. As far as your assertion that I had no complaints, that is incorrect. I complained the second my feet got wet and was told “We are not responsible, the plumbing he JUST INSPECTED was sub-standard. It Happens he said.” Also, I never received an Angie’s list discount. If you want to refute this, show me the money. It is most certainly not on that contract you are so proud of. In my experience most companies would rather stand behind their work than hide behind a flimsy contract.

Alex was great! He took the time to go through all of the troubleshooting options he could think of, and told us what was going on throughout the whole process. After determining the likely cause of our problems, he gave us some options and prices for possible solutions (which were much better than any of the other plumbing/septic quotes we had gotten already), and we scheduled them to come out the next day with a camera to look through our waste pipes for possible clogs and to locate our cesspool. Overall, it was a very positive experience with Mangano, and we would definitely hire them again!

Tech arrived on time, did the job and was finished in 45 minutes. He was very responsive to our needs and answered all questions. The only minor negative issue was a $10 fuel charge added to the bill which was not discussed beforehand. Angie’s list members could also use a coupon for the service. Overall it was a very satisfying experience and I would definitely use Mangano again.

They sent a whole team. They were awesome, on time, clean up after themselves. No complaints!

They were on time, in and out, and I hate to pay someone cause I'm handy, but they got the job done! Very good experience.

The service tech came to my house because I was having a party when the back up occurred. He was dressed in a uniform and presented himself professionally.  I called him because my Uncle uses him for the pizza parlor he owns that has the same last name (no relation) which started out as a friendly joke, but apparently became a good working relationship.  My uncle told me to call and gave me the number.  Anyway, he came and found my cesspool, serviced it, then found that my main line was clogged from the waste in the cesspool backing into it.  While he was doing the service he was really respectful of my questions and kept my house as clean as can be. I liked that he had nothing but great things to say about his bosses and really knew his stuff. Ill definitely be using them from now on.  Theyre even coming to do some plumbing work for me.
