I have been very impressed with Al and his entire team at Design Development as the general contractor for my major home renovation. I have had previous experiences with several different contractors for a variety of projects in the past, and Al clearly outshines them all. His overall experience, ongoing communication, transparency and attention to detail have made the entire process a smooth and enjoyable one and the resulting work has been excellent! I would highly recommend Al and the Design Development team for any home renovation needs.

Al is very easy to work with. He has unbelievable patience and a wonderful sunny attitude.

Do not use them unless you want to have a lien put on your home for not paying, which we did, but he never paid the sub contractors and sued us for the money.

I was extremely satisfied with the work that Al and Dale and his team did for my renovation project. I purchased a small cottage in the Hamptons and needed a major renovation and we had a deadline of Memorial Day weekend. Al worked with me with the budget that I presented. He pointed out ways to save and allowed me to purchase certain items for cost containment. He was professional, courteous and his team was the same and clean. Small issues and changes were handled in a timely fashion. He worked very well with my designer to execute large changes and small details. His carpentry team did an excellent job on a built-in captains bed. The experience was excellent. I have referred him to several friends, who all have been very satisfied.

I needed to have a small job done at my home. Design Development returned my call within one day and the owner was at my house the next day to give me a price. The price was fair and the owner was on site to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. The owner Al Daddio was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. He will patiently explain everything to you as far as your options and make sure that you are comfortable before making a decision. I was very pleased with the whole process and would highly recommend them.

I feel very lucky to have found Design Develpment Construction. Communications was excellent. Al called me or showed up everyday to see how things were going. Dale who did the electrical work and plumbing even fixed a problem I was having with my air conditioner. Jose who did alot of the construction and tile work in my bathroom was a perfectionist and stayed late to get things done.. The entire team of men who were here worked hard and were very professional. They are trully all very talented. My bathroom looks great!!! I highly recommend Al Daddio and his team. You will not be disappointed

Al came in with the lowest quote to build a room in our ground floor condo. He gave me different options on how to construct the room, where to put the door and the closet. He was very professional and upfront about the cost. Since it was a small project he said that he did not do a formal contract. But he did email me a proposal detailing the work that would be done and the cost. For my project, I had to put a 50% deposit before the work started and the remaining was paid after. The only negative I would say is that the painters dropped some paint on the carpets and did not try and clean it up.
