Dakota Pools

The pool came out amazing! They were able to add a waterfall and I couldnt be happier with the finished product. They were also able to add masonry and it came out great. Steve (owner) was very responsive and there to answer all of my phone calls and accommodate my requests.

This fall, Dakota performed a gunite pool renovation for us. Throughout the 6 weeks from start to finish, they were honest, trustworthy, fair minded, fair priced, and just generally easy to work with. Their crews were professional, courteous, and punctual. Steve, the owner, was on site mostly in the beginning, but was always reachable by phone, and Julie in the office was a pleasure to work with. Every job of this size has some glitches, but together they smoothed over every bump in the road. Would certainly recommend and/or hire them again! From day one, our trust was not misplaced. Some work in the quote that turned out to be not needed was not charged to us, even though we wouldn't have known the difference. Just really top-notch, upstanding, good people from start to finish. Steve understands the importance of customer satisfaction and it shows. There were no hidden costs. They helped us pick out all the materials and colors. The various crews (mason, tile, gunite, etc), were hard-working, polite, and as neat as can be expected. Over the duration of the job, there were of course a few issues, and each was resolved to our satisfaction. Overall, it was a hugely positive experience. I can’t wait until next season when we get to enjoy the new pool!

We especially appreciate the personal involvement of their president, Steven Yonick, overseeing the project throughout the installation. Its every homeowners dream during construction for workers to provide high quality work, plus conduct themselves in a professional, respectful manner. We found their workers to be all that and more.

They were timely,smart,fair,flexible,competitive and honest.
 Of nine firms considered, they were the only ones who were able to provide a complete job (pool,electric and paving).
 They dealt with large 3'x3' concrete pavers.
 As an architect i am very particular, and they did everything right.
The owner and staff were hard working and polite.

It went great. They delivered on everything that was promised and were extra patient with some of our indecisiveness. We love our new backyard. I'm proud to say that our new yard is the envy of all our friends and neighbors.

Steve showed up on time and was extremely professional and friendly! He explained everything he was doing and was very neat and cleaned up. The job was done on time.

Polite and very reasonably priced. We interviewed a few companies and are glad we went with Steve. They got all the permits we needed, helped us design exactly what we wanted and are always available whenever we need them. They started and finished when they said they would and we were able to enjoy our back yard and pool all summer. The pool exceeded our expectations and the stonework is gorgeous! We used them for the weekly cleaning service, and it's nice not having to do any of the work myself. They opened our pool this year and I can't wait to start using it.

Steven is very detailed and professional. Dacota pools did a good job replacing our pool liner. I was impresses with his expeditious response time regarding work. He returns phone calls and emails even of the days he does not work! Very polite and always willing to take the extra effort to assist and pleased customers. Also was a great price!
