This company is a scam. We paid them for a job they did not complete and the owner Brian will not return out calls.

HORRIBLE! They overcharged me for parts...charged me $970 for parts that cost about $150 and tried to sell me on buying a new unit for $11,000. TOTALLY took advantage of me while i was in a bad situation.

Having had oil heat and hot water for 25 years, and have had many service providers and contracts. Long Island's Burner King is the best of them all…. And their emergency service has been the best for us. Twice in 2023, they were at my house in 30-45 minutes and addressed a problem or put in a temp fix and returned the next day to complete the work. They service Air Conditioning Services also, so we will now be moving this service over to them for this also. Great job Burner King!!!

In the past 2 years, I have dealt with this company on 2 occasions. Last year, I selected them to do an oil to gas conversion for my home. They gave an extremely fair price and offered a financing option which allowed us to complete the conversion. All of the workers who came to the house were courteous, prompt, and neat in the work that they did. The office was extremely communicative, both in completing the conversion process with national grid and our town, and with informing us about dates and times of work. This year, we faced an unexpected accident when a car drove into the gas main of our home. Burner King made sure that workers were at our house and making necessary repairs within several hours of my calling them. Additionally, they negotiated with national grid and our town to ensure that we would have heat and hot water immediately, instead of after a 5-7 day period. It is December, we had been through a serious accident. We have a 3 year old and a baby on the way and Burner King fought through red tape for us to get our gas turned back on. They fought for us and worked for us like we were their own family.

Did a conversion from fuel oil to Natural Gas January 2019. From my “acceptance of estimate” to “work done”, Burner King took a total of 3 days. Final Inspection from Lake Grove took much longer but Burner King personnel was excellent at bugging the village inspector and keeping me informed. I could not be more pleased with Burner King support staff. Burner King support staff that I dealt with was always a pleasure, professional, prompt, informative with amazing “follow-through”. This includes but is not limited to ToniAnn, Brooke and Courtney. The actual work from Burner King was excellent and neat and clean.

Work went pretty smoothly. Got several calls from the office staff (Courtney and Ashley) before, during and after the work to let me know of status and small issues that came up. All in all, very pleased with work, the equipment, operation so far and follow-through communication. I even got a call recently (June 2019) from them discussing why I had not received one of the rebate yet. We discussed and they said they would take care of it. This was a call they initiated!

A workman came to check out the pipe that needed to be raised. He gave me a price of $95.00. I agreed. He told me to call the office and make an appointment. I spoke to Joan in the office and arranged to have work done as it could be dangerous if snow covered the pipe. On day of appointment Joan called and told me the cost would be $150.00. I told her that the workman quoted me $95.00. She asked if I wanted the work done, I had to have it done due to the danger. The workman came unprepared. He said he was to see a pipe by the dryer. I said the pipe in the driveway. He did not have an extension cord which he needed to cut a pipe. I had to help him. He was also suppose to tune up my burner as I have a contract. He said he wasn't prepared to due that, i would have to call for another appointed. I gave him a check for $95.00 the originally agreed upon price. I called to set up a tune up appointment but was told they could not do it as I owed them money. Even though I paid for a contact which includes a tune up!!!

I HAD ( not any more ) a service contract with this company. Burner King left me without heat for 4 Days In January when it was below freezing outside. When I discussed it with the service manager. I was told this is acceptable practice because they didn't have the part that was broke, I think this is unacceptable

The guy was very good. I had just gotten my water main done and he gave me a little information on as far as the water main, what to look for and stuff like that. I would use them again too. The price was good. Normally a service like that goes for over $100.

Perfectly. On time, on budget, very helpful setting up gas account and working with PSEG to install gas line from street to house. Building inspector was very impressed about quality of work and really went out of his way to comment how tight the plumbing looked. All this under emergency conditions, Oil boiler sprung a leak just before winter. Brian Link served us personally, and gave us a hot water tank as a loaner, until gas was turned on. He told us he would the boiler would take four weeks to order and install. His team was done in three. He said that PSEG would be the slow ones, taking 8 weeks to get it installed. His staff guided us through the application process and made a few calls on our behalf. Gas service was installed in 7 weeks. All around, great job, great service.

New tank installed. Paid bill in full with understanding that at a later date old tank would be foamed, old fill and vent lines cut and old oil lines in basement be removed. Have called 3 times this week 4/6, 4/7 & 4/8 asking when job will be completed. Keep being told that there are many people waiting for abandonment completion. Never even a call back with an approx. date! They have all my money. NEED JOB COMPLETED SO THAT I CAN FIX MY PATIO!

Burner King installed a new gas furnace, but failed to reconnect the thermostat controlling the 2nd zone of my heating system in a rental home I own. Being a rental, it was a while before I noticed the problem. The 2nd zone was constantly running and my tenants and I were getting ridiculously high bills from the gas company. I called another company to investigate. They found that the controller for the 2nd zone was not working and needed to be replaced. They also found that the Aquastat was set way too high.
Burner King's installation was very unprofessional in that they did not inform me that I had a broken zone controller, or maybe they broke it themselves. They just left the thermostat for the 2nd zone disconnected from it rather than doing the right thing and replacing it. They cost me thousands in unnecessary gas charges and repair bills.
