"Dear Mrs. [removed member name]. We are sorry that you feel the Mold Remediation Services we provided to you were less than satisfactory 18 months after work was completed. This is the first time we are hearing about your displeasure and that you had to have another company come in to provide remediation services again. Why didn't you contact us to notify us of this situation? We would have tried to help you in any way we could have. We guarantee all of our workmanship for 3 years, but, with that said, there is no guarantee that ANY contractor can give stating that mold will never grow back. Mold naturally occurs in the environment all of the time. If the conditions are right, it will grow back. The best prevention against mold growing back is to make sure that excess moisture does not exist. You did not hire us to nor did we provide to you any type of permanent dehumidification unit that would constantly combat excessive moisture leading to the regrowth of mold. It would have been nice to have had the opportunity to discuss this matter with you one on one rather than a public forum, accusing us of poor workmanship when we were never even given a chance to try and correct what was wrong. The other contractor you had to hire pointed out all of the things we did wrong?We provided mold remediation services as per the guidelines set forth by the United States E.P.A. Did the contractor that you had to hire provide to you a permanent dehumidification system? If they did not, please be aware, it is very likely that the same thing will happen in another 18 months. Again, we are sorry to hear about your displeasure with our remediation services however, you did not give us the opportunity to examine, inspect or fix the new problem. Giving us an "F" rating is unfair as we had absolutely no knowledge about the re-growth of mold and zero opportunity to fix it."
