We have been using this company for approximately 3 years. in the beginning they were very good with the fall clean up and doing the regular landscaping during the season and their price was reasonable. Lately the quality of the work has diminished but the prices have gone way up. The price for mowing weekly stayed the same but the fall clean up prices have increased by about 30% and I wouldn't mind if the work quality increased as well, but unfortunately it did not. I would find branches and leaves that were forgotten or overlooked on my property and cutting back of decorative grasses and Hydrangea bushes is no longer done. I felt that we had to keep calling them back to finish the job. I do not want to constantly keep reminding the company to get all the leaves and branches they should just automatically pick them up.

Every job has been reasonably priced and done as asked and done well. I see complaints on here about contacting them. I can say, it is a small business and the owners work on jobs with their employees. So yes, they may not respond immediately and you may need to call back, but they do and they do good work. Prices are reasonable as well. Id use them again and have recommended them to others as well.

Weeds were tall around the house. Usually I maintain it myself but was unable to, so hired Band B to clean up the beds. Hoping they would work out so that I would continue to use them.
- First, one guy starts by hitting the tall weeds with a weedwacker. Then they would've just topped that with the wood chips. Those weeds would have quickly grown back! I stopped him, and said the plants must be pulled out. So, they did pull the weeds. But, also pulled some perennials out also as they couldn't tell the difference.
- They were supposed to trim the shrubbery along the house; the plants on the right side were very overgrown. They did not trim ANY of those plantings at all. Nor did they weed out the saplings growing within the shrubs.
-The large yew was to be given a major pruning and weed out the vines and saplings growing within. They removed none of the weeds, and they did an embarrassing trim job. They severely cut it back on the house side, which was needed but they did not cut the shrub uniformly around it's entire perimeter! The plant was kind of shaped like a large bread roll, but now it has a slice removed from the side closest to the house!
- They did put a good layer of mulch down, but they covered all of the plantings stems so I had to pull the mulch back away from the stems myself. Maybe this is to much to expect, I'm not sure if other co's do this properly as I had always done this myself in the past.
- In order to make the mulch delivery easier they backed their truck up my short driveway to be closer to the house. After they had left I see a small puddle of oil on my new cement driveway! (only 3 years old). I would think they would know not to pull this vehicle up onto peoples driveways.
- I called Bob and left a voice message on his phone. Told him to please send someone back to finish the trimming and weeding, especially of the large yew. That was over 2 weeks ago and they've never returned back or called back. I don't understand why a self-employed person can just walk away from a customer. If he would have returned and finished the job properly I would have continued to use him on occasion. By not coming back, he has lost a customer. Very poor businessman.

Prompt reply to initial contact, service performed as described and in a timely and professional matter. What's not to like?

Bob and his son Bob Jr. are great. Very friendly, professional and reliable. They also did a spring cleanup for me. They had great suggestions for the property based on my budget and what I wanted to accomplish. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!

So far the willow tree was relocated and is doing great. The front beds were redesigned and they both came out beautiful.  We asked him to relocate all the other plants that were in the original bed and they did a great job with that as well.  They also trimmed all our low hanging branches and cleaned and thinned out some beds in our backyard.  They also took down some trees that had partly fallen during hurricane Sandy and plowed my driveway during the winter. They are very easy to work with, show up on time and seem to be always in a good mood.  I am very happy that we decided to go with them for our lawn maintenance company and would recommended them to anyone looking for a landscaper.

There is an updated review posted on 1/22/16. Was not happy as time went on. Prices increased and work decreased.

Good price, arrived on time and completed the work as requested. Very polite and professional. We will use them again next year.

I was not home all day but they came in, performed the services and went above and beyond in keeping everything neat.

Since my wife and I had our twin boys born in March, it is has been impossible to keep up with the lawn care through the fall months. Needless to say our lawn was looking a bit ragged after the holidays. I found B and B Maintenance Services, Inc. on Angie's list, I emailed them to see if they still were doing fall clean ups, since it was about a month into Winter already. Not only did they respond promptly, they went out that day to do an estimate for me. By the end of the day (I emailed them before lunch) we had already scheduled an appointment. I also emailed a few other places but none of them got back to me.
B and B Maintenance Services, Inc. came to my house on Monday morning and worked for several hours raking, bagging and mowing. The lawn looked great and I am proud of my house once again.

Bob was great. Nice young guy from area. Priced the job reasonably and was able to come short notice. Him and his crew arrived on time and removed about 150 feet of trees, bushes etc as well as one larger tree and some small bushes along driveway. They were on time, fast and took away all the debris. I called them back after the fence install to clean up a huge pile of debris the fence guys left and he was prompt and left yard like nothing was ever there. Would def recomend and im calling them again for a late fall cleanup.

Bob and his crew have been maintaining my 2 commercial properties for the past two years. I have been through numerous landscapers in the past but these guys are reliable and courteous. If they see a few bushes out of shape, they will trim them and simply bill me. I am fine with this because i have NEVER felt taken advantage of. There rates are more than reasonable. They do quality work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
