Taylor Construction and General Contracting was founded by Robert Taylor and specializes in Roofing and all your exterior home improvement needs. At Taylor Construction we provide each and every home owner a good product, fair pricing, and superior service. We believe in the "soft sell" approach theres no hassling, haggling and definitely no pressure, we simply come to your home leave a estimate and let you decide if we are the right company for the job. The success of this belief is apparent in fact a large portion of our business comes from referrals. At Taylor Construction each crew is required to adhere to strict protocol on how each job is done. At Taylor Construction we are very selective in hiring new crew members, and all crew members are trained and supervised so that the homeowners get the quality of work that they expect, and are promised. (Note: Always check with contractors insurance company when hiring for a roofing Job. "Not all contractors are insured for roofing due to the high cost of roofing Insurance in New York State, due to the scaffolding law." In fact most contractors tell their insurance company that they do not do any roofing at all to keep their insurance premium at a minimum. Be sure your covered and call contractors insurance company and ask, is my contractor insured to do roofing ? You will be surprised to find that a large percentage of contractors are NOT insured to do roofing.

"When I went to look at the customers house the same day, She already had someone working on the roof as I showed up. The roofer she choose I don't believe has any insurance what so ever and I don't believe he's a member of Angie's list."
"As stated by home owner herself, I told her I would try to make it to her house within a week. I don't make promises because this time of the year is very busy, so I tell the home owners that we would try to get to them within a week, unfortunately I didn't make in her time period. I am sorry but we are a busy company with a good reputation and sometimes we run behind schedule and cant get to places fast enough, that's why I don't give exact time schedules because things change from day to day."
Bob and crew checked/double checked each aspect of the job and spent hours scouring the yard for any debris/nails. Overall I am extremely satisfied with Taylor Construction and would not hesitate to recommend them.
The whole job was done in a professional manner. Did many things that was not expected of them. before leaving the job all workman made sure the job was completed RIGHT., also the cleanup was excellent., plants and windows was well covered when there was work being done.l
If I need any roofing work to be done I will call Bob Taylor to have it done.

Very well. Got right back to me and came a day later. Even explained that the damage I experienced was probably covered by Home Owners which I hadn't even thought of. Looking forward to working with him when the weather improves to prevent future problems.
