He did a great job! Also I was there installing a new toilet and hit a snag. He's also a plumber and came over to help me solve it and wound up practically doing the whole job. I couldn't recommend him higher.

I gave Dan a call after reading another posters review of him. Like the other poster I'm also in the military, I have learned the hard way that a lot of the contractors up here do shoddy work so having a good review was a must for me. When I called Dan was on vacation and despite me offering to call him back he still went through the effort to set up a time when he could come to my house and give a free estimate. I'm finishing my basement myself and Dan was great about working on my timeline. He got me the bid we signed a contract, which stated exactly all the materials he would use the exact price and a guarantee that all the plumbing would be done to code. Well in the middle of all this my main waste line started to leak. I was never really happy about how it had been plumbed and I didn't really trust the work of the original plumber that put it in. (You can see my review of that plumber under Jon Orton and son's) So I had Dan get a bid for that once again came in with a very reasonable price and he was able to start working on it the next day. Not only did he have it done in one day but he was able to tuck most of it up into my joist which the other plumber hadn't done making it much easier for when I start dry-walling the basement. While he was replacing it he showed me some of the connections and it was only a matter of time before I had more leaks so having him replace the whole line was money well spent.
I was also in the process of converting my house from propane to natural gas so I had Dan run in a new gas line and convert the furnace an oven. After doing all that he was finally able to start plumbing the bathroom which is why I had originally called him. Dan and Jason who work's for Dan were able to finish the plumbing in two and a half days, which is good considering they had to put in a sewage ejection system that pumps the waist water up to the drain line. These guys always showed up on the time they said they would and are both great plumbers. Not only that they even let me barrow some of their tools for a side project I was working on. From now on if I need any plumbing or heating work there is only one plumber I'll be calling.

Seven years ago we bought the house of dreams, the problem was that the house of our dreams was already over 100 yrs old. The first thing on our to-do list was to remodel our down-stairs bathroom. Not being from the area ( my husband and I were both in the Army) we trucked down to the local hardware store and asked for the name of a good pluming and heating guy. We were given a list of names and that is when we first met Dan Hamilton. Besides being one of the nicest guys I know he is also the most professional; the bathroom came out beautiful. This year has been an extremely rough year for me, I have been very ill. Our furnace had to be replaced this winter and last week our hot water heater decided to flood our basement. Everyone knows that summer is the busiest time for contractors but it just took one phone call and he made my water heater and softener a priority. Before my plumber left today he said, "Amanda if you ever need anything, anything at all, the wife and I are here for you." Like I said he's one of the nicest guys I know.
